Chapter 487: A Shy Yuna

"Where... Where am I...?" ［Yuna］

The young lady asked softly, her voice trembling subtly. There was a trace of fear and confusion in her eyes, waking up to an unfamiliar ceiling and an unfamiliar room. She clutched the blanket as if her life depended on it.

Thankfully. There was one figure who was familiar to her. He looked quite different from what she remembered him, but she could definitely tell it was him. Her one and only friend, and also the savior who gave her a new chance in life... It was Grey...

"Y-You are Grey... Right...?" ［Yuna］

The "Tear of Revelation", a potion Yuna made which improves sense, acuity, and intelligence... However, after it was mixed with the special tea she made, it has turned into a new potion whose effects have become reversed.

Rather than improving one's senses and intelligence, it actually removes themー or rather, it reverts them to a former state. It is not just the mind, but the body as well, wiping out all "memories" for a set period of time... The "Tear of Oblivion"...

Normally, by drinking the potion, one would suffer from a little sickness and then their body and mind will revert to a time which the drinker desires the most. Meaning, if one wants to, they can turn back to their younger self, both body and mind.

However, in Yuna's case, she only drank a few drops, not the whole bottle, making the effects minimal. First off, the time she returned to was random and secondly, only her memories were sealed. Right now...

"Yuna, can I ask you something?" ［Grey］

"Umm... S... Sure...? Go ahead..." ［Yuna］

"Then, can you tell me what the date today is?" ［Grey］

"The date... Umm... It would be the 3rd of Garn, Year 1766..." ［Yuna］

... It seems that Yuna's mind was thrown back to 3 years ago when Grey and Yuna were just living in the forest and Yuna had yet to reach A-rank. To herself, she was just a 15-year old who was suddenly thrown into an unfamiliar scene.

Grey doesn't know how long one will be stuck in such a state, but he does know that the Tear of Oblivion reverts them back after a week or when they are in danger. With just a few drops, it shouldn't take the young lady over a day.

Grey didn't dawdle any longer and soon explained the situation to her confused fiancée from what the current date was, how old she was, where they were, the reason why they are in the situation they are now and everything else.

It was quite hard to explain since there were some new terms the young Yuna was still unfamiliar with, but one way or another, Grey got his way through and was able to explain the gist of it to the young lady, the latter taking it in quite well.
