(A/N) i spent two hours watching proseka gacha singing battles instead of writing this im giggling so hard. Oh yeah pretend that i said the party is gonna be in the real world 🎉
(btw it's like a company held party or whatever so there's a bunch of staff and things like that)

Rui woke up at around 4 AM. He could barely get any sleep because, well. He can't tell whether he was anxious or excited, but he's more anxious than anything.

He started getting ready as usual, but then he went into Nene's room. She was sleeping peacefully. Rui sat down next to her bed and started moving around her arm to get her to wake up. (Yk like when little you had a nightmare and you woke up your mom)

She slowly started waking up. She looked at Rui with confusion.
"W-what... Rui? How early in the morning is it... " she said, rubbing her eyes.

"Get ready, we're going to a birthday party. "
Nene stared at him with a blank look.
"Birthday party? What are we, some toddlers? "
"Nene, please. This is important. "
"Who's even is it??? "
"You'll see. " Rui leaves the room, leaving Nene to get ready.

Rui sat down on the sofa, and started scrolling through his phone. "Oh, how did I never realize? Tsukasa probably has some social media pages. " He opened instagram, and searched for Tsukasa. (nahh bro's stalking)

"Aha, found you. " He started to look at his posts. "Hm, he doesn't post very often... Miku was right, he does look different. "

A few minutes later, Nene walks out of her room.
"Ugh, who's party are we even going to at 5 am? "

"Oh, it's not until 8 AM. "

Nene stared at him.
"You bitch. " She says, walking back to her room. Rui giggles and looks back to his screen.

"Hmm... Oh! Emu? " He clicks on her account.
"Woah, there's a lot of pictures of her and Tsukasa. They must be close friends. Oh, isn't this Tsukasa's sister? Interesting. "

Sooner or later, it's 7:10 something AM. Rui and Nene are in the car.

"You're lucky it's my day off today, Rui. If not I would've left you to go to some random persons birthday party alone. "
"Why must you be so harsh, Nene? " Rui chuckles.

Aaaaand, they arrive. Rui opens the car door, but is stopped by Nene. "Why are you going out now? It's only 7:15. "

"There's... Other things I have to do there. "
He walks out of the car and enters the party room. (bro idk what to call it)

Nene sighs and starts playing on her phone. Rui is met with an excited Mizuki.

"Yay! You're finally here!" Mizuki hugs Rui.
"Mizuki, you actually invited that guy?"
Ena says with a concerned look on her face. If Rui ends up causing any sort of trouble with Tsukasa, he'll be kicked out. "You know, if some people find out that Tsukasa was slapped in the face by some random kid at school, rumours will spiral. We can't just ruin his reputation like this. What if people assume he was a bad person?"

"Oh stop worrying, Enanan! If Tsukasa remembers the shitty things Rui did to him, Rui will take the blame!"

"What?-" Mizuki looks straight into his soul.
"Right, Rui?" They say, with a smile.
"Oh, uh yeah."
"See? Nothing to worry about!" Mizuki hugs Ena. (let's go fruits!!)

Rui looks around the well decorated room, no one seems to be there yet. He spits a couple of staff members scattered across the room, some even staring at him. Well, he wasn't supposed to be here, so...

He then turns to Mizuki. "So, where am I gonna sit later?"

"Hmm, there's probably gonna be a table around... There! Sorry we can't sit with you, there's this huge table and Tsukasa makes some sort of list of people that can sit there and accompany him. It might seem egotistical, but he's a really fun person, so I don't mind sitting next to him at all!"

"I see. Well, I'm just going to go back to my car and grab Nene. " Mizuki nods as Rui leaves.

In the car, Nene is playing some game when she hears a tap on the window. She opens the door so Rui can come in.

"C'mon, the party's started."
"But you said it was at 8?"
"Change of plans."
He drags her out of the car. They sit down at a table and eventually, it's 8 AM.

As Nene watches the people walking in, her eyes widen. She instantly turns her head the second she lays eyes on...

"Tsukasa?! Are you kidding me, Rui?!"
"C'mon Nene, this is our chance to apologize."
"I already told you, I'm not interested in meeting them again... I just want them to live a happy life without remembering the things we did to hurt them."

Rui pauses for a second. Nene's argument made sense, but he won't let it stop him.

"Oh, is that Emu?" Nene's eyes look back up.
"Knew it, you used to have a crush on her, right?"
"Yes, but that's not the case! Tsukasa looks really different, so I thought she would too."
"Mhm..."

-at tsukasas table-

Tsukasa sits down, and is greeted by the people there. He chuckles softly, "Greetings, my wonderful friends!"

Toya's gaze wanders the room, and he spots Rui and Nene. He looks at Mizuki, who winks at him secretly. So, it was Mizuki's plan.

Toya chuckles quietly at Mizuki's wink. He then nudges Saki's shoulder, telling her to look over there.

"What the hell. Did you bring them here???" She whispers to him. "No, it was Mizuki."

Saki looks at Mizuki, who waves at her, smiling menacingly. "Ugh... I thought I told Mizu not to invite anyone else..."

[time skip, I don't have any ideas and it feels like it's been a decade since I've updated this thing]

Rui was walking out of the party, and he bumps into someone. This makes him drop his car keys. Before he grabs his keys, he sees a hand reach out to them first.

? : "Sorry about that- I wasn't looking."
The person chuckled. Rui looked up and saw...

Tsukasa.

He seemed completely fine, meanwhile Rui was frozen in shock. He bows down awkwardly, taking his keys and running away (dragging nene with him). Tsukasa looks confused at his actions.
