What would you do if you were buying coffee for your boyfriend and suddenly saw an old friend?

I noticed Nene sitting alone at a small table for two. She was on her laptop, working as she ate a small tiramisu accompanied by a cup of coffee.

I was a bit bored waiting for my order, so I decided to surprise her! When she went to the bathroom, I went
to sit in the empty seat next to her.

I walked back to my seat, and-

I gasped out loud and ran back into the bathroom. For some reason, my heart was pounding at the slightest sight of her. It felt... No, I can't possibly like her. I'm not into girls.

If that's the case, why am I hiding from her in the bathroom?!

I'll just go outside! Yea! I... I'll talk to her!

-------------- 5 minutes later

I walked out of the bathroom. And... she's still there.

Her eyes lit up when she saw me, waving and telling me to come over. I awkwardly walked over, and sat down. She stared at me with bright, expecting eyes.

"...hi?" i muttered. I spoke one word to her, yet my heart beat a hundred times.

"Hello!" She replied, energetically.
How is one this active at 9 am in the morning?

I stayed silent. For some reason, I couldn't get any words out. I wanted to talk to her. "How are you?" "What have you been up to these past few years?" I wanted to ask her those.

"I missed you." She said, still smiling. I turned red... Gahh, why am I transforming into a tomato?! Make it stop!!!

I was a flustered mess, panicking. That was until I heard her chuckle. I looked up, and her smile was even wider. It melted me. I wasn't sure if I would be able to walk after this, cause she made my knees weak.

"I... I missed you too."
I managed to get it out, after a few seconds of hesitation. (more like silence)

She was about to speak, until the cashier called out her order.

"Bye, Nene!" She waved.

DAMN YOU CASHIER!!!!!!!!!!!
