I woke up early today because I had an interview, so I had to make it on time. I yawn, stretching before checking the time on my phone.

I got up from my bed and went to the bathroom.

I grabbed my toothbrush and squeezed out the last bit left toothpaste, after freshening up, I took a quick shower.

After showering I moisturizer my skin and applied some makeup and did my hair.

I took a simple yet professional outfit. A black turtleneck, a long black high-waisted suit pants alongside a long white coat.

I put on a pendant my mom gave me when I was little, she passed when I was 12 and since then, I was alone until my freshmen year in high school (grade 8). I met these 3 girls with whom I'm now stuck with.

Chaeyoung, Lisa and Jisoo

They're like my sisters. In our senior year, we moved in together into the house we now stay in.

They're the only people I have.

Jisoo is like an older sister figure. She takes good care of me, and so does her family. I met them many times before when I went with Jisoo to visit them.

I tied my hair into a low ponytail with my curtain bangs loose, framing my face.

I grabbed my phone and purse walking downstairs.

"Good morning!" Lisa says, hoping out of her chair as she hugs me and wrap my arms around her.

"Morning!" Jisoo and Chaeyoung says in sync as I returned it.

"You ready" Jisoo ask, grabbing her car keys and a banana of the kitchen island. I nod.

"Good luck Nini, fighting" Chae yells holding up her fists.

"You'll kick ass Annie" Lisa says cheering. I smile thanking them and blowing kisses as me and Jisoo leave.

I hope into the passenger seat while Jisoo takes the wheel, starting the engine. And after 10 minutes of driving, we reached the cafe that I would work at. Hopefully

"You got this Nini" Jisoo says, turning the engine off with one hand before cupping my hand in affirmation.

"Thank you Soyaa" I smile using her childhood nickname, she pulls me for a hug and pulls away after a beat.

"See you!" I say opening the door, "Byeee, kisses" She says as I shut the door, walking into the cafe.

The atmosphere immediately feels chilled, the aroma of coffee and pastries filling my nostrils.

I walk up to the counter, just as a lady come from the kitchen.

"Good morning, what can I get for you?" She says with a smile, she's beautiful. Brown hair pulled into a ponytail, brown eyes and a welcoming smile.

Maybe we'd get along

"Hi, I'm actually here for am interview" I inform her, returning her kindness with a smile.

"Oh yes, Jennie right?" She asks, glancing up at me.

"Yes, Jennie Kim" I confirm, she smile.

"Okay, could you hold on for a sec?" She asks politely and I nod.

She pressed some buttons and put the telephone to her ear.

I stare at the menu plastered across the flatscreen hanging on a wall above us.

The lady put the phone down and turns to me, "Follow my lead" She says gesturing into the direction.

She guides me through the back rooms to what seems like the management.
