Tears in her eyes, Amayla re-packs her bag and almost trips over Reggie's sweatshirt. She stands there, staring at her boyfriend's sweatshirt on the floor that he must've left by mistake; Amayla holds it and smells Reggie's fresh cologne through the sweatshirt, feeling him holding her, like it was going to be okay, but it wasn't.
Amayla packs the sweatshirt and finally shuts her three week suitcase closed again while going in her closet and putting on her vans.
Diana pushes her suitcase to the stairs and walks back into her room, and slams the door shut, angrier than she has ever been.
Amayla grabs her phone to see Kevin and Betty in the group chat, texting her like crazy, not understanding why she is going back to Colorado again so suddenly.
She looks up and sees Reggie's room. His bedroom light is off, and he is already in bed, sleeping peacefully. Amayla wanted to tell him. Tell him what happened, Tell him that there won't be a possibility of them coming back to Riverdale, Tell him that she loves him more than anything.
He did so much for her. She felt bad for making him do so much. Amayla quickly grabs a piece of paper, an envelope, a book (to write on), and a pen.

The taxi arrived, and Diana was the first one to get inside. Amayla stares at Reggie's mailbox for a long minute before sticking the envelope inside and walking away to the taxi. She stares back at her house, seeing her parents stare at each other before Mrs. Harris turns her back away from him, getting inside the taxi.
Mr. Harris watches as the taxi drives away with the three most important people in his life, while he starts to feel the acid inside his throat swallow him whole; with his heart pounding itself into a knot.

In the kitchen, Ms. Mantle flops another buttermilk pancake onto Reggie's plate, while Reggie looks up and smiles at his mother. "Mom, are you trying to make me a stuffed turkey?"
"I just want to make sure you have a full breakfast," Ms. Mantle said. "How was Colorado with Amayla?"
"It was good, I chopped some wood with her Grandpa, and we just spent time together."
Ms. Mantle raises her brow. "Reggie, you two didn't have sex -"
"No! No Eomma!"
"Phew, okay, okay! I was just asking."
Reggie continues eating while Ms. Mantle pours some coffee into her mug. "I really like Amayla. She's smart, beautiful, and PURE.~"
"Yes, Mom, I know."
"Unlike -"
"Veronica. I know."
Ms. Mantle smiles while petting Reggie's head. "I just want you to know that I'm proud of you. Especially with everything that happened last year with your Dad, I can see the improvement from not just you just on how Amayla positively changed you emotionally."
Reggie warmly smiles, getting up and hugging Ms. Mantle. "Thanks, Mom."
Ms. Mantle hugs him back until she parts away. "Oh, before you head off to school, do you mind checking the mailbox for me?"
"Okay." Reggie puts on his jersey and heads to the mailbox and opens the lid. Usual mail, like always, until he sees an envelope with his name on it; written in Amayla's handwriting.
Reggie walks towards the porch and sits on the step, opening and reading Amayla's letter:
Dear Reggie, By the time you wake up, you will probably be at my door waiting for me... but I won't be there. My family and I had a huge fight last night, resulting in my mom, Diana, and me to fly back to Colorado to stay with my grandparents. I just wanted to write you this letter to let you know what's going on so you're not left in the dark.
If I can be honest, I'm scared, Reggie. I'm hoping in my heart that we won't move back to Colorado, unlike my sister, because Riverdale was the place that I met and fell in love with and for you. I know you can't fly back to Colorado because you just got back, but hopefully, I will be able to see you again after these couple weeks.
I will try my hardest to convince my mom and sister to return back to Riverdale if it's the last thing I do. Be safe and healthy, Reggie.
Love You Always, Amayla
