Me: He was battling Dr Eggman when the Mad Scientist sent him to Shantae's world with the Phantom Ruby.
FanboyReader10100: He then helped the Half-Genie Heroine defeat Risky Boots! Then she decided to try and shoot Shantae, but Sonic jumped in the way and took the bullet for her.
Me: Shantae quickly took him back to Mimic's workshop where he was patched up. And that's when their friendship started.
FanboyReader10100: Then they had to defeat Ammo Baron. And Sonic totally soloed him as Super Sonic! And then they realized they has feelings for each other, and so during their date, the beginning of a wonderful relationship was born!
Me: From that moment, Sonic became one of Scuttle Town's greatest defenses. And when his friends ended up in Shantae's world too, Team Sonic and Team Shantae came together and protected Scuttle Town and the Seven Chaos Emeralds from Risky Boots, who sought to use them for her own selfish purposes.
