Chapter 18

guys guys guys, my wattpad is being annoying. some instagram pictures are like deleting for some reason so if there's no picture there that's why but i will be keeping an eye on them😭

Tyra's pov:

today is the game that i have been dreading. it's against Germany.
(i know they never went against germany but go with it)

we were all currently out on the field training,
well the boys were, me and Perrie were sat on the side,

"i'm nervous for this game" i said,
"cuz of kai?" she asked,
"yup" i replied,
"Kai may not even be starting" she said,
"he probably will be though" i replied as she sighed,

after a day of training it was time for
food,

"hey what's up" Trent asked before wrapping his arm around my waist as we walked to the canteen,
"just not looking forward to seeing him" i replied referring to Kai,
"if he says or does anything come straight to me okay?" he said causing me to nod as he kissed my cheek,
the butterflies i get for this man haven't changed that's for sure.

after dinner we headed to the stadium,
before we went i changed into my alexander-arnold England jersey,

when we got to the stadium we all headed to the changing room and waited as we had an hour still until the game,

i was sitting next to Trent as my phone started ringing,
It was Rudy

Tyra: hey rudes what's up
Rudy: oh wait are you in the same room as the whole england team?
Tyra: yeah why
Rudy: GOOD LUCK EVERYONE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU
Tyra: who's we?
Chase: HIIII
Tyra: hey Chase
Chase: wheres Trent?
Tyra: Arnold!!
Trent in the background: yeah?
Tyra: come here
Chase: why do you always call him Arnold?
Tyra: i've always called him it
Trent: what's up?
Chase: hey Trent!
Trent: oh hey Chase you alright man?
Chase: yeah yeah i'm good you?
Trent: i'm good thanks
Rudy: Ay Trent my man good luck
Trent: hey buddy thanks
Perrie: alright Tyra we gotta take our seats
Rudy: who's that
Tyra: that is Perrie
Rudy: omg from little mix? hey perrie!
Perrie: hey!! loved you in outer banks
Rudy: thanks girl!
Tyra: alright rudes i'll talk to you later, see ya chase
Rudy: okay see ya
Chase: wait tyra have you been told about the people's choice awards? we've been nominated so we've gotta go
Tyra: what? when is this?
Chase: uh next week
Tyra: what?? oh my days alright i have really gotta go i'll talk to you about this later
Chase: okay no worries have fun
Tyra: thanks see you later
*call has ended*

"alright good luck i love you" i said before kissing Trent,
"i love you too" he replied before giving me another peck,

"come on" Perrie said before we walked out,
"hold on let me go to the toilet" i said,
"okay i'll meet you there" she replied as i nodded,

after doing my business, my phone rang again,

Tyra: hey mads what's up? (i asked as i walked out the toilet only to be met with the one person i didn't want to see.)
Madelyn: hey did chase tell you about the awards? what are you gonna do?
Tyra: yeah babe he did tell me, i'll call you about it later the games gonna start soon. (i said as me and Kai stood in front of each other)
Madelyn: okay, hey you alright?
Tyra: yeah i'm good. ran into some dog shit but i'll live (i said with a sarcastic smile making kai look to his feet)
Madelyn: alright i'll talk to you later. love you
Tyra: love you too
*call has ended*

"Kai" i said as we stood in front of each other,
"hey T" he said gently,
"what are you doing on the England side" i asked as we were just outside the England changing room,
"i could lie and say this is a coincidence but i was hoping to bump into you" he replied,
"okay as weird as that is,  i've got to go" i said as i tried to walk past him,
he put his hand on my shoulder,
"take your goddamn hand off me Kai, i will not hesitate to scream and considering there is a changing room full of boys right next to us it is not a good idea to piss me off" i said causing him to sigh and remove his hand,
"lover boy in there?" he asked,
"yeah he is actually" i replied before i started walking away,
"i'm sorry Tyra, i was so insecure. i know it's no excuse, i need you back in my life, please" he said as i giggled before heading out,
"hm cool story bro" i said with a laugh and a sarcastic smile before leaving,
