Btw if anyone was thinking this was gonna be a Gamora x reader then I'm sorry but it's not because I just couldn't find a good way to do it and I'm not good at romance but maybe in the future a love interest might appear

We see as Quill, Gamora and Y/N get pulled into the ship with Quill landing on top of Gamora and Y/N rolls to they're right as Quill, him and Gamora gasp and cough for air

Gamora: "Quill? What happened?"

Quill: "I saw you out there... I don't know what came over me... but I couldn't let you die... I found something inside myself... something incredible heroic I mean, not to brag, but objectively-"

Gamora: "where's the Orb"

Quill: "it's... well they got the Orb"

Gamora: "what?!"

Quill: "wait, but let me finish, I then put the mask on you and..."

Quill then looks to his left when he hears a loud clang and sees Y/N standing up and grabbing his mask and goggles back up

Quill: "wait... you saved me?"

Y/N: "don't mention it"

Quill: "no, but... why?"

Y/N: "I guess I pitied you, maybe I didn't want to see someone die in such and idiotic way or maybe... I've grown weak, like Nebula said I would"

Before Quill can ask any more the door opens to reveal multiple Ravagers pointing blasters at the trio

Kraglin: "welcome home, Peter"

The guards then grab them all and drag them back to the rest with Yondu grabbing Peter by his collar and pushing him against the wall and punching him repeatedly with the other Ravagers cheering

Yondu: "you betray me? Steal my money?"

Gamora: "stop it! Leave him alone!"

Yondu: "when I picked you up as a kid, these boys wanted to eat you. They ain't ever tasted Terran before. I saved your life!"

Quill: "oh, will you shut up about that? God! Twenty years, you been throwing that in my face, like it's some great thing, not eating me! Normal people don't even think about eating someone else! Much less that person having to be grateful for it! You abducted me, man. You stole me from my home and from my family"

Yondu: "you don't give a damn about your Terra! Your scared because your soft in here"

Yondu then pounds his chest

Yondu: "here, right here!"

Gamora: "Yondu! Listen to me. Ronan has something called an infinity stone"

Yondu: "I know what he's got, girl"

Gamora: "then you know we have to get it back he's gonna use it to wipe out Xandar. We have to warn them. Billions of people will perish"

Yondu: "is that what they've been filling your head with, boy? Sentiment? Eating away your brain like maggots! That's it"

Yondu then pulls back his jacket revealing an arrow as Yondu whistles and the arrow flies to Quills neck

Gamora: "no!"

Yondu: "sorry, boy. But a captains gotta teach his men what happens to those what cross him"
