We see as the Xandarian officer known as Dey jogs towards Nova prime in they're headquarters. "Nova Prime." He says. "I received a transmission from one of the Ravagers. He says Ronan's in possession of something called an Infinity Stone and he's headed toward Xandar."
"Good God." Nova Prime says in fear
"It's a trick." One of the Xandarian officials calls out. "He's a criminal."
Nova Prime turns back towards Dey and asks. "Did he say why we should believe him?"
"He said his crew just escaped from prison so we'd have no other reason to risk coming back to Xandar to help." Dey says. "He says that he's an... a-hole, but he's not, and I'm quoting him, here, 100% a dick."
"And do you believe him?" Nova Prime asks
"Well, I don't know that I believe anyone is 100% a dick, ma'am"
"I mean, do you believe that he is here to help?" Nova Prime asks again
"... yeah."

As the Dark Aster approaches Xandar, Nebula rushes towards Ronan, who sits on his throne, weapon in hand. "A fleet approaches. They appear to be Ravagers." Nebula says to the conqueror
Multiple Ravagers ships head straight towards the Aster. Yondu and the Guardians leading them into battle.
"Fire!" Yondu calls out into the station as two glowing orange orbs are shot from the main ship and head straight towards The Dark Aster
Nebula looks on worriedly as the two orbs approach before they collide with the Aster covering it with its own substance in a large bubble
"Cover it down!" Yondu shouts again. "Submerge!"
The fleets doves straight down before tilting back up and heading straight at the Aster from underneath. "Rocket, hurry!" Quill shouts, looking at Rockets fleet which goes straight for the Aster.
With Nebula, the orange bubble disappears which alerts her that the Ravagers approach the ship from underneath. "All pilots, dive! They're beneath us!" Nebula shouts in panic
Rocket and two other fleets approach a weak spot of The Aster and open fire on it while the rest of the guardians and Ravagers handle the Dark Asters Fleets

Nova Prime and her officials watch on a hologram the battle pursue
"Evacuate the city. Our priority is to get out people away from the battle." Nova Prime says, worried for her people and for Xandar

"Forward thrust, now!" Nebula shouts as The Dark Aster goes at full speed towards the people of Xandar as Rocket and the two other Ravager ships try they're hardest to breach the Aster
Rocket and the other finally breach the Aster, and go to notify immediately. "Quill! Yondu! Now!" Rocket shouts
Yondu and Quill's ships speed off towards Rocket as they dodge incoming fire from the fleets chasing them. Quill controlling the ships and the rest of the guardians trying to stabilise the ship and shoot the fleets around them
A Dark Aster fleet crashes straight into Yondu's ship which results in him pummelling to the ground. "Aw, hell! I'm going down, Quill! No more games with me, boy! I'll see you at the end of this!"
Just as Quill goes to make a snarky comment, a blast from another fleet hits them. "There are too many of them, we'll never make it!" Y/N shouts as Drax looks on in awe at the battle happening before him as he's never been in a battle at this scale
Suddenly, multiple star shaped ships appear everywhere, the guardians know whose ships these are... The Nova Corps
"Peter Quill." Saals voice booms through the radio. "This is Denarian Saal of the Nova Corps. For the record, I advised against trusting you here"
"They got my "dick" message!" Quill shouts in childish excitement
"Prove me wrong." Saal says
The Guardians all boost forward on they're control panels and dive straight into the Dark Aster as Drax laughs in joy and excitement, the rest of the Guardians watching him in confusion as they try they're best to slow down the machine before finally coming to a stop
"Yes!" Drax shouts, with his arms raised into the air
"We're just like Kevin Bacon." Gamora says to Quill
