Scene III, Sora's sitting in his art anatomy lecture
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got up to hand in my anatomy sketch to be graded. While I was walking back to my seat, my phone buzzed, it was Maki. 'Maki🤭😳: "I'm so sorry for not responding to you last night, my eyes locked shut before I could hit send." 9:03am' I let out a quiet sigh of relief. A very small part of me thought he was trying to ghost me. Most of me however, figured he'd fallen asleep, it was pretty late when I texted him.
Once I got back to my seat, I messaged him back, trying not to seem too eager to talk to him. 'To Maki🤭😳; "All good! I know it was late when I texted you, I didn't really expect you to respond at all till the morning." Delivered: 9:10am' I looked up, and glanced around the dead silent room. I seemed to be the only one who had finished the assignment so far. This made me panic, 'What if I made it sloppy, and he gives me a bad grade?!' I thought, staring down at my books.
My phone buzzed again, and I quickly regained focus, looking to the screen. 'Maki🤭😳: "I'm going to be honest, I was up attempting to finish an essay that I ended up finishing this morning" 9:13am' I stared blankly at my phone for a minute, before processing what I read. I typed out my message, and sent it. 'To Maki🤭😳; "I'm sorry, I'm glad you got to finish it though! If you ever need help, I'm almost always free. :)" ' I turned off my phone, and set my head on the table.
My phone screen lit up, and I looked at it. '!Not Delivered!' I sighed, hitting the 'Try Again' button. Not even 2 seconds later, my phone said '!Not Delivered!' again. I kept hitting the 'Try Again' button until finally giving up 10 minutes later. I glanced at the time, '9:25am', and sighed, putting my head back on the table, and falling asleep to pass the time.
