Both Karl and Sapnap are over 18.

Karl had been laying on the grass for sometime now. He swatted at another bug that flew by his face, and blew a lock of hair out of his eyes. Any moment now, he'd be caught skipping class.
If there was one thing Karl hated, it was his boarding school. His parents had sent him off to this pretentious hell in September. It was now April and nothing was any easier. Sure, he'd made a couple of "friends", but that did nothing to ease the constant feeling of restlessness which so often overcame him.
The majority of people here were horrible, rich brats who'd had tutors all their lives. They needed help with the college work- Karl didn't, and he took pride in that, secretly.
He couldn't obey the orders that everyone else seemed to find so easy. He didn't like to walk from class to class like a robot.
Scheduled study sessions? He could study whenever he pleased. Dinner at 5:30? He'd rather skip since he wasn't allowed to eat at his own times. It really didn't help that he got into even more trouble with his parents during the Christmas holidays, when he returned home and they were distraught at how much weight he'd lost.
Karl hadn't noticed, and he felt perfectly fine. He just didn't have it in him to turn up to the dining hall, every damn day, at 5:30pm precisely. If he arrived late, he was reprimanded.
He preferred when he didn't go at all, he avoided the possibility of getting in trouble for being late.
Apart from Mrs Jacobs whisking him off to a doctor's appointment he didn't know about, he had it all sussed out. He knew which classes he could afford to skip, and instead recharge to avoid overstimulation.
He knew which hallways were fastest to take, and he knew how to be near the dining hall around dinner time.
However, one thing Karl didn't know was that his usual history teacher, Mr Lawson, was absent today.
Mr Lawson was by far one of Karl's nicest teachers, and yes, Karl took advantage of this quite often, but Mr Lawson knew that even when Karl skipped his classes, he copied up notes and learned it all in his own time.
Instead, today a teacher who had a strong dislike for Karl took Mr Lawson's place. Mrs Richmond. Karl prided himself on being a feminist but he had long ago decided that this human deserved none of his respect.
She handed out punishments to people who held their pen in a way she didn't like. She gave detentions to people who "took too long to think" before writing. She was a condescending, rude woman who knew what to say to make people feel week and inferior. Not to mention she was openly racist and homophobic.
Karl sometimes wondered why she was still in her job as a teacher. But it all made sense when it came down to headmaster Scott. The man was a demon, and gave out beatings during the detentions of her most disliked students.
Was it legal? No. But anyone who went to Karl's school had a certain type of parents, parents who would treat you worse if they piped up about the corruption of the school. The parents knew, of course, what they were signing their kids up for. "Character building and obedience".
They pumped money into the school to ensure that their offspring would be cash-seeking, just like them. Exploiting the poor. Obedient to authority.
Mrs Richmond walked into Karl's view, and he sat up from the grass.
"Mr Jacobs." She sneered.
"Hello, Mrs Richmond." He forced a smile.
"Do you have history today?"
