Four

"Will that be all today, sir?" a brunette girl asks him with a rehearsed smile "Yep."

"That will be 18,700 won." Seungmin pays her and waits for his order. When his name is called he goes up and picks up a small brown bag and large caramel iced coffee. He thanks the employee before heading towards the bookstore. He opens up the paper bag and pulls out a chocolate muffin.

The streets of Seoul are wet from rain and the sidewalks are slowly starting to fill with people. Seungmin watches the sky in awe as the sun begins to rise over Seoul. It is completely occupied with rich shades of purple, red, and orange. The colors complement each other well. Seungmin is sadly interrupted from admiring it when a car's horn takes him away from his thoughts. His lips slightly turn down to form a frown before he finishes the last of his muffin.

He walks past a trash can and throws away the bag with a simple flip of his wrist. He takes a sip of his coffee as he rounds the corner and sees the bookstore come into view. Seungmin smiles and makes sure the collar of his shirt is in the right place before opening the door. He struts up to the cashier and throws him a small smile. "Hello, I'm here for an interview."

"Go to the room in the back and wait there. I'll tell your interviewer that you're here." the cashier tells him with a slightly annoyed expression. Seungmin thanks him and goes to a room that lives against the back wall with a door slightly opened. He pushes it open to reveal a little break room with eggshell-colored walls. There is a small table with a box of donuts and a water cooler against one wall. Two black leather couches are opposite from each other and a table for two is across the room from the water cooler.

Seungmin sits at the table and pulls out his phone to pass the time. Only a few minutes later someone walks in. Seungmin looks up and meets a pair of golden-brown eyes that seem to sparkle. The interviewer is wearing a bubblegum-colored shirt with black skinny jeans and a white beret. It was Felix, and Seungmin felt totally and completely fucked.

The silence kept getting louder as they looked at each other, taking in the other's appearance. Felix is internally raving over Seungmin's outfit. He's wearing a sky-blue collared shirt with white jeans. His dark hair is styled so that most of his forehead is visible with only a few strands hanging down.

Felix finally breaks the staring contest and gives Seungmin a bright smile as he walks over to the table and places a thick red binder on top of the table. He plops down in the seat across from the younger and opens the binder. He flips through a few pages before eventually settling on one.

"I'm sorry about this first set of questions. I am required to ask them, even if they might be obvious or personal." Seungmin nods his head as Felix picks up a pen, preparing to write down the younger's answers.

"What did you present as?"

"Alpha."

"Do you have a mate?" Seungmin clears his throat starting to feel a little uncomfortable. "Yes."

"Is it an open relationship?"

"No, but if my mate and I find someone we both like, we will gladly add them to the relationship." Felix nods and writes all his answers down.

"I'm sorry, but why do you have to know this?" Felix blushes a bit. "It's company procedure; we have to know for lawsuits and all that good stuff." Seungmin nods but doesn't fully believe the omega that he notices is wearing scent blockers. His expression falls; he was looking forward to smelling peaches and brownies when Felix walked into the room.

"Next question! How old are you?"

"22."

"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Seungmin answers before he can stop himself. "In my bed with a certain someone between me and my mate."

He looks at Felix with something he can't decipher, but whatever it makes the older feel excited. He coughs and says he'll write his answer down as happy.

"Do you have any job experience?" Seungmin nods. "I've been a waiter, cashier, and barista."

"Why do you want to work here?" Seungmin freezes for a moment "My mate makes more than enough money to provide for us, but I wanted to do something productive with my time" Seungmin avoids Felix's gaze and looks out the window hoping that the brunet didn't catch the lie.

Felix writes that down and then gives Seungmin a smirk. "I have one last question for you; it's one from me." the younger has a good idea of what it's about and honestly, it scares him shitless.

"Will there be a problem with PDA if we hire you?" Seungmin gathers up all of his courage and flirtatiously smiles at Felix. "Well Felix, that depends entirely on you."

Felix slowly turns more pink than the shirt he is wearing. He opens his mouth, but nothing comes out. Seungmin gives Felix a genuine smile before asking the Aussie his own question. "When will I know if I got the job?"

That seems to snap Felix out of his daze. He circles something on the paper he was writing on, and then scrambles all of the papers together and throws them all back in the binder. He looks up at Seungmin and puts his head in his hands. "I can tell you right now if you'd like."

Seungmin nods encouraging the older to continue. Felix stands up and walks to the door with the binder. He looks over his shoulder at Seungmin. "You've got the job. You start your training next week on Monday."

"Thank you so much!" Seungmin gets up and bows from the waist. Felix chuckles and then removes his scent patch; the smell of peaches and brownies immediately fills the room and entices the alpha's wolf. Seungmin softly growls before he can stop himself; Felix knows what he's doing. Seungmin tenses his jaw from the sudden intrusion and clears his throat, trying to leave before he runs to the omega. "I'll see you Monday."

The last thing he sees after leaving the room is Felix's starry eyes with a glint of mischief and the omega blowing a kiss right at him.

Please vote if you enjoyed this chapter! I kinda wanted Felix to withhold the job from Seungmin cause it'd be funny, but he's already too whipped 😔. Remember to eat and drink something! Don't be like me since I low key forgot about lunch...oops
