I've decided to traumatize myself and write this God-forsaken chapter. Let's just say, I almost threw my computer against the wall a few times while writing it.

Oh, and mating is kind of like marriage in this book, so whenever people mate they start to share ownership over assets like money, properties, etc.

This chapter is over 6,000 words long. There's a lot to unpack this chapter!

In the taxi, Felix's head rests on the alpha's shoulder, and Seungmin's head is lying against the glass. The Virgos struggle to keep their eyes open as the roar of the car's engine attempts to lull them to sleep. It isn't long before Seungmin hears soft snores leaving the omega's mouth, and he too, falls asleep before he can stop himself.

Seungmin flinches out of his sleep when his phone goes off. He groggily looks over and squints as his eyes try to focus on the screen. The caller ID is "My tsundere bunny 💗". Seungmin looks over at Felix, who is still asleep and completely dead to the world before accepting the call. 

"Hello..?" Seungmin's voice cracks slightly and is raspy from sleeping. "Where are you? It's almost midnight."

"Midnight? We should have arrived in Seoul over an hour ago." The alpha perks up at the sudden information. His eyes dart over to the front of the car and he narrows his eyes at the old man driving trying to read him. "Minho, I'll call you back in a bit."

"Okay, love you," Seungmin can hear worry seep into Minho's voice. "Love you too, Min."

He hangs up and speaks up loudly to make sure the older man can hear him. "Sir, where are we going?"

The man makes eye contact with Seungmin in the rearview mirror. He speaks up in a shaky, but gentle voice. "You said you wanted to go to Sokcho. We're about 30 minutes away."

Seungmin awkwardly smiles and tries to find the best way to tell the man he's taking them somewhere completely different from where they want to go. The alpha speaks again and makes sure to be very loud and clear with his words. "I'm sorry sir, but we asked you to take us to Seoul, not Sokcho."

The man's eyes widen. "I'm so sorry! I could've sworn I heard you say Sokcho. I'll turn around and take you to Seoul for free. I'm sorry."

"No no no no no, it's my fault for not speaking clearly and falling asleep. Can you keep going and take us to Sokcho? I'll work something out with my mate." The man smiles and Seungmin can see his eyes turn into the shape of little crescents. "Of course."
