Lethal Passion

They say that one of the greatest accomplishments in this life is when you become a master of your passion. Secondary to that is not letting anything diminish your passion. Many people have allowed the world or the opinion of others stop them from doing what they love and it has killed them.

Why wouldn't it?

Their very being and soul has just been taken from them. Leaving them an empty shell of a person to whither away silently without whisper or trace. Some have accidently overwhelmed themselves with multiple passions, having to juggle with them all in order to keep them alive.

So it's not that I'm a bad guy. I love the passion that humans show. It makes me feel alive. It's what sustains me. The way that they are driven near madness.

The only time I get really hungry is when someone loses that passion. It's like well exactly how it sounds. But it's also much more.

I get this hollow feeling inside that grows to the point of pain. The more I try to ignore it the more it increases. It'll keep growing until I can't push it aside and I, well what's the opposite of exploding?

Imploding?

Whatever the definition, I extended my hunger outwards until it drew inwards feeding me.

Until I was no longer hungry.

I didn't want to hurt humans. I liked humans.

But they were my food source.

Passion was my source.

I think it fair. If you have such great passion in you then you should be able to sustain both you and I to live. If not then that's on you. After all, I never take more than I need.

So the next time you choose your hobby, your passion or something else, choose carefully. It may be the most valuable thing to offer.
