Being tossed around on a mat all day was something that Taehyung dreaded. He absolutely hated training. He had acquired a number of bruised in his legs, back and arms, and sometimes training was so intense that he couldn't sleep properly and would wake up in the morning with a stiff neck and sore joints.
This morning was one of those mornings, and so he decided not to go. He had an afternoon session with his sister Bora, and brother Taehyun, and instead of going he found himself out of the house all day, going to work, and meeting up with his old friend Jimin.
The two of them had a productive day. Taehyung caught up on everything he missed, which was quite a lot as Jimin showed up with one more child than Taehyung left him with, and the ravenette was very happy to meet them.
Taehyung spent the entire day out, and by the time he got home it was close to nine o'clock. The ravenette entered the house and shut the door, locking it behind him. He kicked off his slippers and made his way into the kitchen, halting with and widening his eyes when he saw a shirtless Jungkook at the counter.
The blondie looked up at the sound of another presence and lifted one eyebrow whem he saw Taehyung. He placed the bottle of milk on the counter and crossed his arms in front of him.
"Where were you today?" The elder man asked. Taehyung pressed his lips into a fine line and approached the counter, standing opposite to Jungkook.
Taehyung ran his fingers through his short dark hair and cleared his throat, "I couldn't make it today." Was all that he said, and Jungkook just hummed. He took up his small bottle of milk and began walking out of the kitchen, not sparing Taehyung a glance. But when the ravenette called put for his name he stopped and turned around.
"What is it you want?" He asked, and Taehyung sighed before walking up to him.
"I want us to be on good terms."
"We were never on bad terms." Taehyunh sighed and closed his eyes at the elders response. "Jungkook..." he poke softly, unconsciously stepping closer the the man, "I don't want us to be on these terms, then."
Jungkook hummed and ran his tongue across his teeth, "I think these terms are quite alright."
"No they are not!" Taehyung exclaimed and Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows.
"We had this conversation already, Kim, I am you trainer, you are my student and my bosses son. I will not encourage any type of inappropriate relationship with my students, are we clear?"
"Being friends isn't inappropriate, Jungkook."
The blondie sighed and turned away from the younger man. Taehyung chest rose and his heart began to beat quickly , and that is when those three words slipping from his lips.
"I miss you!"
Jungkook stopped in his tracks and held his head down shaking it.
"It's not going to happen, Taehyung. It can't." He took a short breath and poked the inside of his cheek with his tongue, "Be in the gym tomorrow by 5pm, if you cannot make it tell me in the early.
That was all he said before making his way up the stairs.

Jungkook missed Taehyung too. That was something he never denied to himself. He missed the younger man a lot, and he still loved him a lot too.
And that was the thing.
He loved him too much to just be friends with him, and it was too soon to be more than friends, right now.
Sighing, Jungkook sat on his bed and held his head. He really didn't know what to do.
