Kaveh - Age 21
Alhaitham -  Age 19

Kaveh has been in a mentally abusive relationship. His boyfriend has been cheating openly but Kaveh still doesn't let go.

The boyfriend knew about Kaveh's little "obsession" over him. They break up and get back together continuously.

That's when Alhaitham steps in.

Alhaitham is a junior who skipped a year thanks to his intelligence. He is now
on 2nd year college. Kaveh is a 3rd year.

Their buildings are just a few blocks apart. They sometimes pass each other in the cafeteria.

Kaveh knows Alhaitham because of his dad, vise versa.

One day, Alhaitham decided to make a move on Kaveh, knowing that his life has been going on downhill. He knows about his toxic relationship with his boyfriend.

Kaveh's POV

As I was walking through the hallway with Daniel (his boyfriend), I felt a hand grab mine. Daniel seemed to notice but didn't do anything about it.

"Hey Kaveh."

Oh? It was Alhaitham!

"Hey Haitham? Why did you suddenly in the janitor's closet?"

I peeked out the door's window and I saw Daniel kissing another woman. As usual. I was not even surprised. I wanted to break up with him so bad but I also didn't want to let go.

Going back, I saw Alhaitham put his palm on his face, looking upset.

"Kaveh, how many times should I tell you this? You have to break up with Daniel. He's using you, Kaveh."

"I know I should break up with him. It's just that, I'm afraid that he will break my reputation. I do not want to start over again being the lowest."

Alhaitham looked frustrated and tired. Maybe I should follow what everyone said?

"Kav, I will take care of your reputation. Don't worry about that. All we need to worry about is you right now. Even your dad is worried."

Maybe I should break up with him.. a few more days?

"Alright, thank you Haitham."

"You can count on me."
