A morning in a tech-driven New York City, with a red sun shining down from the sky like it was Mars, felt unsettlingly not-of-this-world. The streets of Manhattan were as busy as ever, but something felt off. The sky was a deep red that gave the city a sickly glow, casting shadows where there shouldn't have been any.
The buildings and skyscrapers glinted like a giant ruby, reflecting the red light that bathed the city. The people on the street seemed to walk with more purpose, their faces illuminated by a strange, eerie light like an ongoing apocalypse was happening. The numerous advanced cars whirred by silently. "Electronic cars only" proclaimed the large billboards throughout the city.
Despite the dystopian feel outside, the couple was still snug in their king bed, tangled up together like a web was tied around them. It was easy to see that they belonged together- legs, arms, and all. Their breathing was rhythmic and content as they slept, their skin touched all over. The sheets were just barely covering them, a tangled mess that only made them look more in love. This couple was content to get lost in each other's bodies as they were in the comfort of each other's warmth.

The room was still dark when she woke up. She slowly opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was her boyfriend next to her. His face was calm and peaceful, even if a few locs poking out of his bonnet were tangled across his face. His hand was loosely wrapped around her waist, holding her close. She smiled to herself, knowing that she was the lucky one. They had been together for a year now, and she couldn't have been happier.
She carefully got out of bed, placing his arm on a fluffy pillow, and tiptoed to the window to let some light in. The sun, which was mars in her world, hadn't risen yet, but it was already illuminating the sky with pastel tones. She took a deep breath, feeling the fresh morning air filling her lungs. she loved this peaceful hour of the day, when everything seemed to be still. It was the perfect time to think and prepare for the day ahead.
She slowly made her way to the bathroom, careful not to wake her boyfriend. She turned on the shower and stepped in, feeling the hot water running down her skin. she closed her eyes and let out a content exhale, trailing her hands across her curves, scars, moles, and rolls. This was her moment of relaxation before the hustle and bustle of the day began.
After a quick shower, Olivia wrapped herself in a fluffy pink towel and walked to her dresser. She took her time getting ready, putting on a pair of tight, low rise shorts, which showed her hot pink laced thong, and her tattoos. A star on the side of her tummy, a heart on the other, and her boyfriends name written on the slope of her ass. She applied some light makeup, a dash of highlight on her nose, some mascara, and some concealer on her neck. She liked to keep it simple, but she still wanted to look good for herself and her boyfriend.
As she was putting on her shoes, she decided to wake her boyfriend up. She gently shook him, and he grunted, half-asleep. "Hobie, wake up," she whispered. "Hol' up, princess..." He replied, his voice being raspy and deep from him being asleep for a long period of time for once. He opened his eyes, still a bit drowsy, and softly smiled at her. "Okay, I'm up," he said, stretching his arms.
While she was waiting for her boyfriend to get ready, she decided to make some breakfast. She made her cinnamon pancakes, his favorite, and poured some apple juice. She enjoyed cooking, and she wanted to make sure that her boyfriend had a good start to the day, whether they were going on a mission, jumping across dimensions and kicking ass, or just grabbing a pastry, swinging around the city and watching the rain fall.
They sat on an open counter, enjoying their breakfast together. she looked at her boyfriend with damn likely hearts in her eyes and felt grateful for having him in her life. He was her support, her rock, and her best friend.
"Darlin', you're staring." He said, stiffing a chuckle.
"It's because you have some whipped cream on your face. My parents taught me better." She lied, rolling her eyes with a small pout, causing him to let out a hum.

As they were cleaning up the dishes, he hugged her from behind, caressing her curves, making her shiver. "Thanks for wakin' me up," he whispered, kissing her neck and wrapping his arms around her lower back. "I needed this." she smiled and turned around to peck him on the cheek. "You're welcome," she said.
"I always want to be with you."
