I finally got her...Magnolia Richards. She is just the woman I need by my side. Leonidas doesn't deserve her, especially since he refuses to be an Alpha of his own pack.

Magnolia's car was wrecked after she ran over our spikes in the road. Luckily, she had no major injuries.

"Alpha Axis, there was no trace of Vinci when we left."

I smiled. "Good. Make sure he stays in the dark."

Leo hasn't even claimed her as his mate. There's no way he'll know where she is located.

"Where...where am I?"

She's awake and gorgeous. We wrapped her wrist with bandages and were now at Lux Wolf pack territory.

"Hi Magnolia. I am Axis Noble."

She looked around the hospital room in fear.

"Why am I here? What is going on?"

"Shhh...Relax. You were in an accident and we brought you to our hospital."

"I need to call my mom." She sat up but cringed in pain.

"You will...just relax and get some rest."

Magnolia laid back, realizing I was trying to help her. Once she relaxed, she fell back to sleep.

Leonidas has always been oblivious to werewolf nature. He was adopted by humans but still knows the bloodline he comes from. I'm his blood cousin, so he can't deny the werewolf coursing through his veins.

I've done very well for myself financially, and now I need a female companion. I have a mate that I've claimed, but I still feel like something is missing, and Magnolia being human just makes me want her more.

Leonidas doesn't talk about the women he meets with me, but I just so happened to see his new assistant when she received a package for him. Her beauty, voice, and energy were intoxicating. I felt my heart skip a beat.

Besides her looks, the thing that caught me was that she could see my wolf, Solar. She didn't say she could, but she jumped as soon as the door opened and kept looking behind me. That's how I knew she was gifted.

I figured she couldn't see Leo's because he blocked his wolf.

I've been watching her since that day, learning her daily routine, and who visits her.

I found out the same guy who got his arm broken by Leo still would sit in front of Magnolia's apartment complex. So I followed him and rammed him off the road.

She's been staying with my cousin, and I'm surprised Leonidas hasn't taken her for himself. Maybe he's not interested, but unlike him I'm not letting her exist without being mine.

Magnolia and I are going to get to know each other very well.

When I woke up in the hospital, I thought I was losing my mind. My memory of my car accident was very hazy. I looked around for my purse or phone and didn't see either in the hospital room I'm in.

A man named Axis told me I got a flat while driving, which caused me to lose control of my car.

My leg was bruised, and my right wrist was wrapped in bandages, but the pain was minimal for now.

"Hey, you're awake. Are you hungry?"

Axis came into the room with a warm smile on his face. As he talked, I realized I had met him before. He has a wolf spirit that follows him everywhere, but it doesn't seem tortured or lost. It's also huge and freaked me out the first time I saw it.

"I need my phone."

He kept changing the subject with offers of something to drink or eat. He was starting to upset me.

"Mr. Axis...I don't know what you're trying to do or your reason for not letting me call my family, but I'm not stupid. Why are you being so shady?"

He smirked. "Feisty, I like that."

"Where's my purse and my phone?"

Axis went into the closet on the side and grabbed my purse. I was relieved and annoyed that he was hiding my stuff.

"There is a wolf spirit that keeps following you. I think it's trying to tell me something but I can't understand it."

He began to look at me intensely, and the spirit began to fade away. I was getting more nervous.

"Are you a doctor?"

"No, but I am the Alpha of this community."

"Alpha?"

"Yes, do you know what that is?"

My heart raced...my reality was getting crazier. All the books I've read on supernatural beings I still didn't take werewolves and vampires seriously. Ghost, spirits, and the afterlife were my priorities because that's what I've witnessed.

"Does it have something to do with werewolves?"

He smiled, and my eyes widened.

"No fucking way."

In my shock another man walked into the room. "Alpha, Leo Vinci is here."

I got happy when I heard that name but Axis looked pissed. My excitement caused me to try and get out of bed.

"No, you need to rest, Magnolia."

"I'm going home to rest."

Ignoring him, I went to get my clothes that were folded on the chair next to the closet.

"Why is she still here?"

A gorgeous red haired woman walked into the room. Axis looked annoyed at her.

"She's still recovering, Nancy."

Her glare at me was one of disgust. I hurried getting dressed and didn't care if they were in the room.

I don't like the way she's looking at me.

"Axis, I want her gone before midnight...or else."

He growled, walking closer to her. "Or else what?"
