Nancy didn't have to worry about me. I was out of there with no hesitation. This whole werewolf thing was connecting. The way she's behaving, I assumed she's his mate.

I read that female werewolves are very territorial, and I didn't want any problems. With my purse and phone in my possession, I walked out of the room while they quarreled.

"Magnolia, wait!"

I didn't understand why this Alpha wanted me to stay so bad. Obviously, his lady doesn't approve, and I'm not trying to be caught up in their mess.

I heard growling behind me and looked back. There was another wolf spirit, not as big as Axis' wolf but huge nonetheless.

"Whoa there...I'm leaving now."

I realized it was Nancy's wolf. They're both werewolves, and it still hasn't fully hit me yet.

"Magnolia!"

The familiar voice made me instantly cry. It was Leo, and I quickly limped towards him. My leg was still hurting along with my bandaged wrist.

"What happened to you?" He kissed my lips, then held my face.

"She was in a car accident."

Leo looked behind me at Axis.

"It's good seeing you, Leonidas." Nancy's full attention was now on him.

"Do you have all your things?" Leo asked me.

"Yes, can we go now?"

He kissed my forehead. "Of course."

"Hello, cousin. I would prefer for her to stay under care here at the hospital. She will be safe and taken care of very well."

Axis once again was trying to keep me from leaving.

"Thank you for helping her. I got her from here."

Leo picked me up like I weighed nothing and walked out of the facility. I was relieved to be in his arms and held onto him tight.

Once inside the car, I could see through the back window Axis standing in the distance as we drove off. He smirked at me, and I turned away. I don't know what he planned to do to me, but if I see him again, I'm running the opposite direction.

I waited until we got home, and I showered before I talked to Leo. Now comfortable in my pajamas, my questions were ready to be asked.

He and I sat on the couch while I ate popcorn, and he checked his emails from his phone.

"Are you a werewolf?"

"No." He didn't look up from his phone.

"Axis said he's a werewolf and Alpha of his own pack....he called you cousin."

Leo looked at me, and I didn't waver as I stared back at him.

"I'll know if you're lying to me, Leonidas."

He sighed. "So now you're going to start calling me that?"

I shrugged. "It's a cool name."

He smiled, shaking his head.

"Are you a werewolf?"

"Yes."

I got up from the couch. "What?!"

"Magnolia, please sit down."

I shook my head. "Nuh uh...."

"Sit....down."

His eyes were a color I had never seen before. I slowly took a seat at the other end of the couch.

"There's nothing to be afraid of. If I wanted to hurt you, I would've done it already."

"So is your ex-wife a werewolf?"

He gave a nod.

"What about blondie, Stan and Joan?"

"Karina, yes...the others no."

Now that I'm thinking about it, him being a werewolf adds up. His height and size, along with his masculine energy it's believable, but he doesn't have a wolf spirit...I wonder why.

Leo gave a soft smile and patted the space next to him. I got up and sat back in the spot. He put his arms around me, and I snuggled into him...it felt so nice.

Him being a werewolf was still unreal, but now I no longer felt alone. And me wanting him hasn't changed.

"Have you ever..."

He interrupted. "Fucked a human?"

I sat up, looking at him.

"Yes, I have."

"Oh..."

He stared into my eyes. "You want me to fuck you, Magnolia? Is that why you wanted to know?"

His thumb rubbed my lips. I gave him a nod.

Leo softly kissed me and I wished my wrist and leg weren't injured. He slowly pulled away and my heart raced.

"Use your words."

I wanted him so bad. "Yes Sir."

"Good girl."

I had my doctor come to my home to examine Magnolia. She rebandaged her wrist and upper right thigh.

She had no internal issues or other outer injuries. I sighed in relief as Magnolia fell asleep.

"Tell her to take one of these every 8 hours for pain. It should take a few weeks for her to heal and she'll be as good as new.'

"Thanks Doc. I appreciate you coming on such short notice."

"Anytime. Enjoy your evening."

After the doctor left, my thoughts went to Axis. I didn't think that he would set his sights on Magnolia or any female since finding his mate, Nancy.

Not only does he put Magnolia in danger of Nancy but also his pack wanting to be loyal to their luna.

Most importantly, Magnolia is mine, whether I claim her or not. She is human so I would never force my mark onto her. When I feel like she is ready I will claim her the werewolf way.

Even though I don't claim Alpha authority or have a pack, I'm still one.

I made sure two of my guys were on watch at my place. Their orders are to kill now and ask questions later.

Axis and I have never had any issue with each other. He was more of a brother than cousin to me. But for him to think that its okay to try and kidnap Magnolia is very disrespectful.

I know that her accident was caused by him. He must have forgotten a couple of jobs I had him do in the past dealt with spikes in the road and a bullet in the head.

When I pulled up to Lux pack territory, the gate was opened without questioning.

I wasn't here to play nice. Depending on how this conversation goes he's about to become my sworn enemy.
