Lu dragged in a quivering breath, wincing at her headache.

She heard a voice murmur something, but she couldn't make out what. Then she felt something soft in her arms. Lu sniffed and snuggled into it, wondering what was for breakfast.

This time, she heard what the voice said. "Aw, I told you that it would help."

    What?

Lu ripped her eyes open to see who in the world was in her bedroom. Someone in a light grey hoodie and sunglasses sat at the edge of her bed, grinning from ear to ear.

"Who the hell are you?!" Lu screeched, grabbing the pillow that she had been snuggling with and whacking them as hard as she could.

They yelped and scurried off of the bed. Lu glared at them. " I said, who are you?" Lu demanded. " And why are you in my room?!"

"Well, it's my room,too..." They said shakily.

Lu was confused. What? She looked around and realized that this was not her bedroom. It was a fairly small room with pristine white walls and a white floor. She was sitting on the bottom of a bunk bed with white bedding.

She stared at the person. "Where am I?"

They frowned. " Well, you're right there. Sitting on my bed."

"Well no duh, stupid." Lu growled at him. " I meant where are we?"

They was silent for a bit, then they spoke. "We're in the Facility of Norm,of course."

Lu whimpered. "No. No we're not. This is just a nightmare." Her voice cracked

The person frowned deeper. " No. Seems pretty real to me."

Lu scowled." Who the heck are you?"

"Oh!" They ripped off the sunglasses and hood to reveal bright pink eyes and fluffy green and pink hair. " I'm Myrtle. Nice to meet you!" He grinned excitedly.

Lu cringed. Was everyone else here so brainwashed? Was she going to be like that one day too? And why did he have pink and green hair? Not that she could say much in that department, since she had blue hair.

Lu looked down at her outfit. She was no longer wearing Jinx's clothes, but wearing a dark grey T shirt and some grey leggings.

She gasped at Myrtle." Did you change my clothes?!" She really didn't want to be sharing a room with some creepy pervert. That'd be just her luck, too.

Myrtle tucked his chin in and shook his head. "No,no. I didn't. The guards did."

Lu gave him a disgusted face. "Please tell me they were girls."

He shrugged. "I didn't give them a close look,so I don't know."

She just hoped it wasn't that terrible man who killed a fellow Officer and then knocked her out. If it was, she was glad she didn't know. Lu didn't want to imagine that psycho unclothing her and putting new clothes on. That was disgusting.

Lu sighed. Might as well get accustomed to living there. "Which bunk is mine?" She gestured to the beds.

"Oh, uh. Can I have the bottom one?" He asked meekly.

"That's fine." Lu stood up weakly, almost falling over. Myrtle quickly ran over to help. Lu waved his hands away.

"You never told me your name," Myrtle blinked at her expectantly.

"Oh, I'm Lu Stevens." She glanced at him nervously." Um, I hope you don't mind me asking, but how... long have you been here?"

Myrtle counted on his fingers." Ten years."
