THE FOUR friends sat at the lunch table, listening to eunbi as she spoke about the night before.

"SO HE SAVED YOUUU???" chaeyoung shouted while slamming her hands down onto the table, earning a slap from soojin.

"you did this shit yesterday." soojin muttered, rolling her eyes.

"basically. i'm so grateful he did that because the drunk man was really scary and he looked like.. really strong." eunbi thought back to the scary man.

chaeyoung sucked her teeth, "this is why you should've let me drive you home!"

yujin furrowed her eyebrows, "exactly! we could've lost you, i swear if you disappeared i would also disappear just to meet you in heaven."

soojin folded her arms, joining in on the eunbi scolding train, "your too stubborn eunbi. i would've hated to lose you. all because you wanted to walk home."

eunbi put her hands up in defense, "okay i feel attacked! i know i should've let you guys take me home but i just wanted to feel the beautiful feeling of walking home at night. the way the streetlights shine in the night sky and the sounds of crickets. it's a beautiful scenery, you can't blame me." she frowned.

"that's true but you need to remember your a women. i'm not saying this stuff doesn't happen to men too, but as a women you know it's VERY dangerous to walk alone at night. i could've went home with you or something." yujin said as she slowly reached for eunbi's hand, caressing it with her thumb.

eunbi nodded, continuing to eat her lunch, trying to see if the topic will pass.

"okay but now that we've scolded her, can we talk about the fact sunboy SAVED HERR!" chaeyoung perked up.

soojin gave chaeyoung a threatening look before turning back to look at eunbi, "exactly! you've interacted with him so much and you only met him a week ago! isn't that an accomplishment?"

eunbi shrugged, "i don't know? is it supposed to be one."

"considering the fact that he's popular, yes." chaeyoung wiggled her eyebrows.

"first of all ew, don't do that again. second of all, popularity has nothing to do with anything."

"i mean, it kind of does? maybe you don't get it, but many girls in this school would KILL to be in your position right now." yujin hopped back into the conversation.

"right like have y'all seen that one freshman that got accepted into following sunoo's account and made a whole fanpage?" soojin chuckled.

the girls began laughing, "that was funny! she posts about him like he's a celebrity."

however eunbi sat there clueless, she had no clue what her friends were talking about.

soojin looked at eunbi, "you good eun?"

she nodded lightly, "i just.. don't know what you guys are talking about, that's all."

her friends sighed, "maybe for once you should stop being so focused on schoolwork and seriously pay attention to what happens in this school."
