Chapter 8: Untamed Rampage

Since Reaper's air raid on Cyber Bakugan, they've begun to run wild in the streets of Bakugan city, swarming the shopping district with their untamed power. The city skyline is filled with Bee Strickers, Falconeers, and Foxbats, while the streets are being torn apart by Sariuss, Hammersaurs, and Ramdols.

The city residents run in terror at the unfounded attack by Cyber Bakugan. While some try to fight with their own partners, others take to shelter with their Bakugan as they aren't the fighting type.

Micheal Claws tries to engage with the few close by. He calls for his Dragonoid to battle the Ventus Fly Beetle that soars overhead. "Dragonoid! Take out that Beetle, ability, Boosted Dragon!" He raises the power of his Dragonoid. [700Gs] Dragonoid fires a singular fireball at Fly Beetle. It's a direct hit, casting the Beetle ablaze. Fly Beetle crashes into a nearby building before reverting to ball form.

"Good shot, Dragonoid. We've just got a few more to get through before we can," As Micheal is gloating his success, a Ventus Buz Hornix appears behind his Dragonoid and avengers its comrade. Using a double ability of Queen Riot and Durandal Cannon, Dragonoid is weakened to the point of losing every bit of G power. Buz Hornix fires a row of green darts into Dragonoid, defeating it, and turning it back into the ball.

James Roads also tries to join in the fight. Using his united three Bakugan combinations, he takes on the teamwork of Hammersaurs and Sarius coming his way. "United ability, Dust Tempest!" The combination Bakugan unloads a large tempest onto stampeding duo, taking them all out.

When his back is turned, a Venoclaw appears behind him. Using an ability, it strikes the combination Bakugan in the back. While it didn't do much harm to it, it does still split back into three parts.

Watching this from above, Reaper holds his master in his palm. "Now, Reaper. We need to add to our army while our numbers are still fresh." Reaper holds their master up high. The ball shines before shooting multiple beams of light from its body. The light strikes the Dragonoid and the three separate Bakugan.

The struck Bakugan awaken, reverting back to their true forms, only with that same purple glow in their eyes. "Dragonoid?" Micheal asks, seeing the change in his Bakugan. Dragonoid turns its attention to Micheal before attacking him. He narrowly avoids being struck down by his partner, before running for it.

A little further down the shopping district, Caleb is trying to run for cover with his mum. "This way! There should be a safe place to stay before we...," two Bakugan suddenly rush past the pair.

A Darkus Siege, riding on the back of a Pyrus Ramdol like a motorbike. Holding a halberd as a weapon, Siege prepares to strike them down. Ramdol comes charging at full speed, with Siege on its back like a jousting knight.
Before their combined attack can connect, Leonidas leaps from Caleb's pocket. He lands on the floor, opening himself up. He appears in his true form between the attacking Bakugan, and Caleb. With a strong right hook, Leonidas slams his fist into Siege, knocking it off the Ramdol, and into a nearby wall.

Ramdol places them, but does a quick u-turn before coming back to ram into them. Leonidas meets them halfway, tackling it off its wheels. After struggling, he tosses the clone over his shoulders, slamming it into the downed Siege. Without being prompted, he fires his Omega Eraser at the pair, taking both out. Their balls fall to the floor, rolling towards the pair.

Caleb looks to his partner, "Thanks for the save, Leo. We should get going before anyone show up." Leonidas looks around, he can feel something calling to him in the city, close by. "You go, Caleb. Get your mom someplace safe, and come find me. I can feel every part of my body screaming out, and I can't let it go unanswered."

Without waiting for acknowledgment from his partner, Leonidas takes off running toward where his body is pulled. "Leo, stop!" Caleb tries calling out to them, but it falls on deaf ears. He turns to his mum, only just missing her picking up the defeated Bakugan. She puts them in her shopping bag before Caleb can see. "Come, Caleb! We can still get to safety. I'm sure Leonidas will be fine." Caleb begrudgingly agrees, and the two take off running before they can be attacked again.
