It's the first day, and I've already been this close to being caught.
Qibli.
Should I tell him?
Maybe later, I only just met him.
But if I don't, he might find out! He is really smart.
Ughhh, I have no clue.
~~~~Third Person Prospective~~~~
Moon sat there in bed, thinking about what she is going to do with her powers.
Should I tell someone about it? If not, it would be like stalking, and that's not okay.
She could hear other minds from the other rooms, Kinkajou thinking about making friends, Turtle thinking about Kinkajou, Peril about Clay, and Qibli about... her. She can't quite reach Winter's thoughts, but he was thinking about her during the introduction.
Then, she heard a louder thought from Qibli.
"Should I tell her? She'd think I am the weirdest hero, well most people still think of me as a villain, why is life so complicated?" he thought.
Poor Qibli.
She also heard a loud thought from Turtle.
"Kinkajou probably doesn't know who I am, but, I guess it is something to work on. Maybe she does like m- no, that's impossible..." Turtle thought.
I am going to see if I could get Kinkajou and Turtle together, and maybe... Qibli with me in the process. Argh... why do I like him so much? He could be lying, and a spy- but something tells me he is trustworthy. We'll find out.
She kept scanning through Qibli's thoughts, then he fell asleep. Moon thought of how weird it would be to read someone's dream, but it was too late.
Qibli was fighting a human in a terrifying form, which seemed to be his adopted mother. He was alongside the rest of the group, but they were all standing back. Qibli was trying to confront her mother, unsuccessfully, then he started to fight her. They were both insanely strong, coming from a family line with really strong power-genes. Explosions were occurring all around, laser eyes, then, Qibli was knocked out of the sky.
Wow, that was a deep dream, but I need some rest.
"-*-"
She woke up the next morning to Qibli knocking on her door.
"Moon! It's the morning!" he said.
"Coming..." she said, still barely awake.
She woke up and got dressed, her casual black T-Shirt with short jeans.
When she walked out, Qibli and Turtle were waiting.
"Follow us." Qibli said.
He walked them down to the kitchen, and before they walked in, Qibli thought something that nearly made her chuckle.
"God, this kitchen is probably this big because Clay helped design the place." he thought.
She started chuckling, making Qibli nearly jump.
Oops, he's totally figured out by now.
"Moon... are you... a-" he said but Moon cut him off.
"I'll tell you later. Meet me in my dorm after breakfast." Moon said.
"A-alright..." Qibli said with a panicking voice.
Turtle just stared at the two, completely unaware of whatever was going down.
When we reached the large counter, Kinkajou and Winter showed up. Moon could hear Peril, simping over Clay while walking down the halls.
When she arrived, they all sat down at the counter, and Clay walked out of the kitchen area with an absurd amount of food.
"Eat up!" he said.
"I knew it." Qibli stated, nearly dying of laughter.
"What?" Clay replied.
"Figured out last night when I was roaming the halls, I saw you eating seven twelve-ounce steaks by yourself." Qibli answered.
By then, Kinkajou was rolling on the floor, and Turtle was staring at Clay as if he was not stable.
"Anyways, let's just eat." Moon said.
As they ate, Moon could hardly concentrate, as Qibli was frantically trying to piece together everything happening. From him catching her as a mind reader, to the tiny eye movement Turtle has around Kinkajou.
Then, after breakfast, Moon walked to her room.
"-*-"
"So, what are you going to tell me?" Qibli asked, they were both sitting on the edge of Moon's bed.
"You were correct about what you were trying to say, I am a mind reader."
Just then, Qibli's mind was on overdrive, giving Moon a headache.
"Now you definitely think I am weird..." Qibli murmured.
"No, no! You're an amazing person. Just can we please keep this conversation between the two of us?" Moon said.
"But-"
"No buts, please, I beg of you. I would be hated by everyone if they found out." Moon pleaded.
"Okay. Just between the two of us."
"Thank you Qibli." Moon said, while jumping up to Qibli's height and giving him a hug.
"I definitely won't be going to sleep tonight." Qibli thought.
"Wait, hey Moon." he thought to her before he left.
"Yeah?" Moon said.
"Hypothetically, if you EVER need to tell anyone else, Turtle is your guy." he said.
"Thanks."
First Person Prospective - Moon
Qibli literally makes me FOLD. I half expected him to run out of the room, shouting that I was a mind reader.
But then again, there is Winter. I don't quite know Winter yet, and he was thinking about me during our first meeting.
And as I was walking down the hall, I ended up crashing right into him.
"Why'd you do that!" Winter shouted.
"I'm sorry! It was just an accident!" I responded.
"I am famous! I should be treated with respect."
Weirdly, Winter kept pressuring me into an argument for no reason, as if he had a plan. His thoughts are... weird... they are strong and unpredictable, very hard to read. I hear doubt... but also reasoning?
But even before the argument could escalate beyond thoughts, Qibli stepped in.
Huh, how does Qibli know how this would play out?
