we should head to class

right we sh- i was interrupted as i bumped into someone...

watch where you're going a tall boy said. i took me a second to realize that it's the quarterback austin hunter. my heart stopped.

s- sorry i said. but he was already gone. my eyes followed him but he doesn't look back.

i head to my english class.

way to be rude oliver says.

its fine. i should have looked where i was walking.

we arrive in class and sit down. our seats are at the front of the class, right in front of the teachers desk.

i patiently waited for class to start as everyone around me was talking to eathother
the teacher starts class and everyone goes silent.

today you guys will be leading a discussion. i will announce the topic shortly but first i will hand each your tests.

im the first one who gets her test. and as i look at my test im relieved as i have an a again. my grade average barely drops from an A so my relieve was inevitable.

now well come to the dicussion. as you all know the book we are currently reading is " romeo and juliet" which is about the love of two people. today you will discuss if such a love as in this book can truly exist. i urge you to refrain from any obsene word use. i will pick the first person and from there on you will choose the next person on your own. who wants to go first?

i immidiatly raise my hand but mrs. thompson' eyes dart to the back of the class.
chad you will start the discussion.
i sigh out in dissapointment bit keep my head straight.

i think a love like romeos and juliets can actually exist. he starts in a deep non chalant tone. people can really fall in love the moment they meet and see eachother. its logical since most realationships are started that way. a guy sees a girl that he likes so he engages in a conversation with her.

i dont believe such a love is possible. to fall in love with someone you have to know what they like and what they hate. what opinions  they have. what their character is like. how they treat other people and so on. in the book these young adolencents are in love with the idea of eachother. its cle-

how can you say that you can look at someone and know them in that moment. it happened to me and my girlfriend.

im just saying that what romeo and juliet had was clearly infatuation. if they hadent killed themselfes so early in their relationship they would have come to know how little they truly know eachother.

some more student tune in at this point to give their oppinions. some take my side, some take this, and oliver argues that it was romeo who fell in love first and that juliet only got persuaded into the match when romeo came to her balcony. chad rolls his eyes and whispers something to his friends it loud enough that i can hear it. what would he know. fucking gaybo.

i get offended for my best friend but he just tried to ignore it.
i rest my case that such a thing as love at first sight does not exist.

have you ever even experienced love or had a boyfriend? he asks in an arrogant way.

i whisper a quiet no.

see you cant even relate so don't act so high and mighty.

the bell rings and everyone starts packing their books into their bags.
nice dicussion everyone. next time i have a surprise for you so be prepared. nice day everyone. mrs. thompson says as the students leave the classroom.

i head off to my algebra ap class. almost every class i have is an ap class which is why even the seniors are in them, i myself am only a junior.

i take my seat and take out my materials.

its a little later in class when i hear the voice from earlier again.

could you explain the process again. i dont quite understamd it yet.
i turn around to see the quarterback sitting at the back of the class. i didnt even know he was in this class.

the bell rings and mr. aabit asks the guy to stay a bit longer.

since you didnt understand the topic im going have you tutored on it by our best student. the teacher says y/n could you come to the front also?
yn this ist austin hunter. id like you to give him a quick lesson on the last topic .

when would you have time ? i ask

my schedule is pretty tight so if you have time today right after school that would probably be best. he answers in a bored and deep voice.

alright. i shyly hand him a paper with my address on it. just come here at about 3 pm.

k. he says and walks away.
