Kayla helps me to my feet "C...Can I join you?" She says as she looks away and muffles her mouth with her shoulder. "You just saved my life and you're scared to ask if you can come along?! OF COURSE!" she seems so surprised she nearly falls over. I smile as i see nick walk limply over to kayla and I. "I took a nap while tied to the tree. Wait... What happened?" As he speaks he checks out his scrapes and bruises. He has no idea that I almost died. I feel a hand pat my back. "Good thing I put money on you. You pull through all the time don't you?" Its Michaela! Michaela took one look at Kayla and she goes from Ms. "Good Job" to witch again. "IM NOT DONE WITH YOU!!! YOU MADE THE GUARDS USE ANGEL DUST ON ME AND PUT ME IN A COLD BARN WITH TWO FREAK EXCUSES FOR BOYS" I Find a way to dodge the bullet Michaela just fired at me " Nick does count as two doesn't he?" i say trying to keep my mood up. I dont know why but it was like something was pulling on me in all directions. i remember making some bad moves when talking to girls back home and i don't want my new life to end the same way. i ended up hated by the female gender. we start down the hill as Kayla grabs my arm. "Wait. i have something i want to bring" she walks up to the surprisingly nice farm house and kicks a tile on the wall. it clicks and whirs and makes all sorts of sounds as it compacts into a small box the size of a jewelry box. "One home to go please" Kayla says as she pockets the box. I smile at her. She's really useful if you ask me. Michaela on the other hand... I have mixed feelings about. "Michaela. you said the goddess of light died. The thing is that she spoke to me when I stepped onto the plains" She shoots me a look. "the dead grass plains?" I look at her "Yeah. and do all lights bring life to dead things? because i took one step onto the grass and it seemed to breath in life." That made the two girls take a step back "No! Only the light goddess could do that! How could you?!" I stop them "I'm no god, She's still alive and i dont know how i'm possibly a light knowing what i did back at home" that made the situation even worse "YOU CAME FROM THE OUTSIDE" i walk and nick follows behind me. The girls share a glance and follow me. what to they think i am? A god?! The goddess is alive!!!
