Hey sugars ❤️ so, one of my sugar asked me what is Sanno festival and Sanno festival is going on in Japan in June.
Actually Sanno festival is one of the three great festival of Edo ( as Tokyo was once called ) when the Tokugawa ( It's a surname in Japan literally meaning "virtuous river" ) began to rule the country from Edo the shrine also become associated with the Tokugawa family. During the period of their rule, the festival become a celebration of the nation's new political centre and its rulers. Sanno festival held on June 7 to 17 every year.
