Chapter 2

Ellie's POV

I take a deep breath as Louis hands me a hot coffee. I can feel it's warmth in the middle of my hands.

I look intently at the new parents as they look at each other lovingly.

"Els can you tell me how your music's going?" Niall asks me.

"I think that there's one song but i don't know if it's too personal." I reply.

"Love some of the best songs are personal and I think even Niall would agree." Louis says. He slouches in the chair, making his legs longer to touch the floor.

"Your first single was great I really like the rawness." Niall adds.

"It's definitely not like Slow Hands that's for sure."

"That's the thing the follow up single is too vulnerable." I cough, "It's like my first one but actually quite depressing."

Court left me a while back and has been with two girls ever since, she had one girlfriend whom was a model and then she found herself going back to Isha.

That situation made me sad and I ended up writing a belter of a breakup song as well as this other song, that is happy but sad all at the same time.

I snap back into the conversation.

"You know what your music reminds me off.." Niall pauses.

"My friend Lewis he writes a lot like that."

"I take it not me but Capaldi?" Louis asks.

Niall nods as he takes a sip out of his drink, "That coffee is far too hot."

"Yeah Lewis Capaldi breakup songs, sad soppy things, you're like him for writing that sort of stuff." Niall says.

"You know my first inspirations were you and Taylor Swift." I reply.

He nearly spits out his coffee. "God she's me are you kidding I grew up with Taylor as well."

"Justin Bieber." Niall giggles. "Beyoncé."

"No you're on your own there." I smirk.

"Shut up." Niall says. "I heard you listening to him."

He laughs, oh I love my Godfather so much, he was so much fun to be around.

Courtney's POV

I sit on my girlfriend's lap and stare into her eyes, "Do you want to get married one day?" I ask her.

"Uh no let's have more fun before that." She smirks, "I'm not really the commitment girl I think you'd understand."

"Yet you have a child." I add.

"I know in fact I think I can hear him right now."

"Will you hurry up?" I hear the little three year old say.

"I literally left the band for a while to have this child yet you went on hiatus anyway." She adds.

I stand up off my girlfriend's lap and walk over to the door where a cute little boy is stood.

"Mummy will just be a second for the time being have Court." I smile.

"No you're my mummy too right?" He asks.

"Yeah sure." I reply. "I will no longer be Court to you I will be Mummy."

My girlfriend winks at me. She mouths something to me.

"We need to talk later." She says.

"Ok." I mouth back.
