You ran too school, since you hated the bus, and arrived just as the bell rang. ' Thank god... ' you thought as you got your things from your locker and headed to your first class, Ancient History. You loved this class, it was your favorite. You walked in, luckily the teacher not noticing you, and sat down. Tails decided to come out and explore, you telling him not to touch anyone. Tails just grunted, and floated to the cabinets behind you. You nearly had a heart attack as tails opened one. ' What is he thinking?! People might see! Talk about being hidden! ' you thought, yet the teacher saw you looking back, and then he saw the open cabinet. " ( y/n)? Would you mind telling me why the art cabinet is open?" Mr. Vail asked, raising his eyebrow. " Uh, I don't know sir. Maybe the wind opened it? " you grinned nervously, only to get a bunch of laughters from the kids. You sunk down in your seat as the teacher walked over giving you a stern look, and closing the cabinet. You then felt weight on your head, and looked up. " I'm sorry (y/n), I was curious..." Tails said sadly, his gem turning blue. " It's ok Tails, just keep near me ok? " You whispered, and he nodded, staying on your head. Your day went on, with a few close calls with Tails, but over all he stayed with you. When the bell rang for school to be let out, or how you saw it, a bell to tell the kids to get the hell out. You ran out of the school, Tails following. You reached home, and plopped on the couch when you got inside. Tails sat in front of you. " School is kinda fun. Why do you hate it so much? " he asked after awhile, his gem turning yellow. " Trust me, in you were there for a week, you would hate it too. " You replied, your voice muffled from your face being on a pillow. Tails only nodded, and then you felt a warm body next to yours, and open one eye to see tails snuggling up next to you. You also noticed his gem was a light Pink. ' I wonder what pink means...' You thought. You only sighed, and smiled, also following Tails into sleep.
