        After the tour, we arrived back at the resort house and everyone went to their rooms. I chose to stay in the living room, indulging my urge to rest on the sofa. As I reminisced about the tour, I felt a stirring deep within me. It was an emotion I'd never before experienced, a sense of longing and belonging all at once -- as if I'd found my place in the world with these incredible people who had accepted me without condition. Jungkook, who had been quiet during most of the tour, suddenly spoke up. "Alyssa," he said softly, "would you mind if I played a song for you?" I gave him a surprised nod, and he retrieved his guitar and began to strum a melody that was both captivating and beautiful. His voice was rich and soulful as he sang, causing tears to prick at the corners of my eyes. When he finished, we all stayed silent for a moment to savor what we'd just heard before everyone broke out into applause, cheering him.
