I was awoken by the feeling of being shaken. My eyes shot open, and there, standing frantic, was Sora. “Zara, we have to go.” I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, sitting up. “What do you mean?” Sora was tugging on my arm, trying to lift me from the bed. “There is a big storm outside. But it isn’t a storm cloud. It’s some purple black hole thing. Half the islanders are dead. Mom…. is dead. I found her outside.." He sniffled, beginning to cry again, and I could see tears staining his blood red face, and  I got out of bed immediately. “Where are Riku and Kairi?” Sora looked grim. “I haven’t a clue where Riku is. He’s been missing since we left the beach, "his mom said. I sent Kairi on the raft. She’s safe.” I grabbed his hand, looking into his eyes. “Where are we going to go?” Sora squeezed my hand softly. “I have a place. Riku and I built it.” Sora tugged me along, going out of the house and down a path. “It’s just around here.” He stated. I noticed straight fear spread across his features as we walked further down this path of debris and sand. “Look at all of those bodies..” Sora trailed off, stopping once he saw something shine in the sand. He let go of my hand, running toward the object. “Sora? Hey!” I ran after him, jumping over the bodies and finally catching up to him. “It’s Riku’s locket. I got him a locket for his birthday. And it’s here… He’s not, though.” Sora reached down, scooping the silver locket of a sword into his hands. “Sora, we have to-” My sentence was cut off by a loud rumbling noise. “Zara? Zara!” The sky turned a dark purple, and Sora was nowhere in sight. All I saw in my line of vision was purple smoke. My vision went black, and I realized I would be separated from Sora for a while.
