On the car ride back, Merida was silent. "So.. what did you give me?" I asked. She slowly pressed on the break as we came up to a red light. "It was a medicine to help you clear your head. I wasn't aware you were allergic." Allergic? Did she not think about checking the bottle? I guess not. "I'm very sorry." She apologized for what I am certain the 22nd time. "It's fine. You didn't know." I said for the 22nd time. "If I knew you were allergic, I would have given you something else." She tucked a piece of ginger hair behind her ear, pressing on the gas pedal due to the light changing to green.

"I talked to Dr. Rich. He said you'd be moved floors. To the emergency watch. Not because he thinks you're crazy, but because he wants to make sure you don't have an allergic reaction to anything else. Like the ICU of a hospital." She explained. "I won't be your nurse for this floor. But I'll make sure to stop by." She turned into the parking lot and parked, turning off the blue Nissan that she drove.

We got out of the car and she opened the door to the hospital for me and we both entered the building. "I'll escort you there." She closed the door, and it clicked which signals that it locked. What a security system we have. Same old white tile flooring, with the same light blue walls with Brown trimming. Same nice lady at the receptionist desk. Same men. screaming in room 4. Everything was the same as it was when I left.'

We entered the elevator, and Merida clicked the button that took us to the second floor, which is for emergency watch. The elevator hummed, and I felt the electric box lift. I stood silent, staring at the buttons. It had a button that had the letter L for Lobby and O for Office. That's the doctor's room. His office. No one really goes to that room
