CHAPTER 33

Andrea's POV

I was sitting on our bed reading a book while drinking coffee when Louise came in, she came to me and kissed me on the forehead.

Me: Are they sleeping already babe?

She then looked at me and look at the door

Nikki&kaila: Mommmyyyy!!!!

they ran to me, they hugged me and kissed me. Teka nga---What's going on?

Me: Alright. What's going on?
Kaila: Nothing mom, we just missed you!
Me: missed me? Eh magkasama naman tayo kanina ah?
Nikki: we still missed you mommy eh
Me: Am I that too busy?
L: sort of? Haha. Just kidding hon.

I just rolled my eyes on her. She then sit beside me and unconsciously wrapped her arms on my waist.

L: they want to sleep here love
Nikki: but ayaw ni mama,
L: eh, your big girls na eh
Me: It's fine with me hon.

I looked at louise teasingly, haha! Kapag dito kasi matutulog yang dalawa eh pinapagitnaan namin sila ni Louise. My wife then looked at me and whispered

L: I cannot hug you kasi sa gitna sila matutulog.

She said and pout, how cute! I just pinched her nose. Louise then stood up and went to the bathroom

Me: minsan lang naman eh.
Kaila: joke lang mommy, we just want to say our Goodnight po.
Nikki: Do you have work bukas mmy?
Me; yeah, I have court hearing tomorrow at 2 pm
Kaila: who are you defending mommy?
Me: my client ofcourse sweetheart.
Nikki: client's name?

I looked at them and raised an eyebrow.

Kaila: Sabi ko nga po kay Nikki matutulog na eh. Tara na bess.
Nikki: Pangalan lang eh---
Me: saying something baby?
Nikki: No ma, ang ganda nyo po sobra. Diba mama?
Kaila: goodnight parents. I love you
Nikki: Goodnight lovebirds. I love you

Louise just laughed while her hand was in her pocket. She just came out from the bathroom. Kaila and Nikki gave their goodnight kisses to me and to Louise and went out. My wife came to me and hug me tight as I placed the book on the bedside table.

L: Sino nga ba?
Me; Ang alin?
L: ang ededefend mo bukas sa korte?

She asked while suppressing herself not to laugh

Me: You're teasing me!
L: Im not. Just asking hon
Me: you already know who she is. I don't want to say her name, you might get pissed
L: uh-uh. Not anymore. I know that you love me so much eh.
Me: ang hangin mo! Haha
L: Just stating the fact babe

She said and kissed me. She arranged herself as she laid her head on my arms.

Me: What happened to the restaurant earlier? Looks like your searching for someone?

I asked while stroking her hair with my hands. She then kissed my chin and buried her face on my chest.

L: parang nakita ko kasi ang daddy ni Kaila sa resto kanina
Me: maybe you just misses him
L: Lovveee

She then looked at me and whines. I let out a little laugh and kiss her nose.

Me; namamalikmata ka lang siguro mahal.
L: I dont know. Well, the kids don't have their trainings tomorrow

She changed the topic as we interchanged our position and placed my head on her chest while shes rubbing my shoulder slowly.

Me: yeah, I'm leaving by 12 tomorrow mahal, para hindi traffic (I softly said)
L: Can I take you to your office?
Me: ofcourse babe, if it's okay with you then yes
