"Morning, mija," my mama said as I walked through the doorway,

"Morning?" I said as I saw some people in our living room,

"Mija, put those bags away and come say hi," my mama said as she hurried me up,

I nodded my head as I walked to the kitchen putting the bags on the countertop and made my way back to the living where everyone was at,

"Hola, mija, I remember when you and my son used to play together all the time," she said as she squeezed me in a hug "but of course your mama had to move across the state and not visit us" she said as she glance at my mama,

My mama had just laughed as if I'm supposed to get it as well, I just smiled at both of them until they calmed down,

"They will be staying with us for 2 weeks," Mama told me, I looked around the house, nodding

"That's why we cleaned everything," I said, pointing back to the kitchen,

She chuckled, shooing me away,

"Go put those stuff away before something goes bad," she said

"Mijo, go help her," the lady said,

"Oh no, that's fine, it's not much, really," I told her as I continued walking backward

"She can handle it, don't worry, mijo, just sit down and relax," Mama said as I made it back to the kitchen,

"Would you guys like anything to drink?" I asked them as I put stuff away,

They whispered to one another until my mom answered me

"Three waters," she said as I closed the fridge,

I grabbed three cups and started to fill them up. Once I was done, I walked them back, placing them on the coffee table, as I started to put it in front of them,

"What school do you go to around here?" the lady asked me,

"A private school for kids who sure pass science really," I answered her as I sat down next to my mom,

"Do you guys pay? Or -" she asked before my mom cut her off,

"She won a science project last year,"

"Ooo, my son did as well. He goes to Brooklyn Visions Academy!" She said excitingly

"Ooo, I heard that's a great school to go to in New York," my mom said, making me look at her,

"If anything better than the one my daughter goes too" she said again,

"I feel like it's good school to for my son as well,

"I was actually looking at that school as well," my mom said as I looked at her

"I remember all the fun we had back in school," the lady said as she laughed with my mom

"Mija, you should bring Miles to your room so you guys can catch up," I looked at the boy who was leaning forward with his head down

"Yea, go mijo, go have fun with an old friend," the lady said to her son, making him look up at me,

"Go Y/n," my mom said, pushing me a bit,

"Alright, come on, I'll show you where it is," I said, standing up, walking past the couches,

"Go Miles" the lady said making me stop and look back at him, he stood up and he was much taller than I expected, he walked to me in a couple of strides waiting for me to go,

I looked back to the hall I was about to enter and started to walk to the very back of it opening my door, letting 'Miles' enter first giving me a little 'thank you' from it
