Wild Goose Chase

The Next morning, Janet woke up stiff, and sore. She could barely move. She was now blindfolded instead of the black sack. Stripes of surgical tape were over her mouth. It stuck better than the duct tape. Janet tried to stretch but she couldn't move, nor feel her legs anymore. She sighed and whined, her wrist and ankles hurt. She heard footsteps coming toward her and she froze stiff.

"Maybe we should move her,"

"What?"

"I mean...I'm sure she's too stiff to try and get loose," Janet agreed mentally with her. She was too stiff and scared to get hurt to try and escape.

"Rihanna,"

"Come on Maya. we can still keep her tied up, but just in a more comfortable area," Janet pretended to still be asleep, which she hoped was working.

"Alright, but we are tying her to the bed...I don't need to lose that money by her escaping," Janet felt her arms and ankles be untied, and she fell to the floor. Her legs gave out on her, so it made it seem she was still asleep. She felt someone pick her up from her legs and from under her arms, and carried her somewhere. Soon she felt something soft under her. She was lifted up, and her arms tied behind her, and she was lied on her back, and her legs tied as well.

"We'll keep someone on the door,"

"Alright Ri...you take first watch," Maya said and left. Rihanna followed and stood in front of the door from the outside. Janet stretched and pulled. She felt something was pinning her legs and waist to the bed. She sighed and tilted her head to the side. She missed Nicki so much, and was so lonely without her. Not to mention the fact that she was trapped and alone. She swallowed a lump in her throat as she blinked tears away from her eyes. Her eyes stung with the black clothe doubled over her eyes. She heard the door open and footsteps. She struggled a little, afraid of who it might be. The tape was taken off, and Janet panted. She stayed silent as she heard the clinking of metal on porcelain.

"Open," Janet heard the same feminine voice that had told Maya about letting her be somewhere more comfortable.

"W-why?"

"So you can eat. Just eggs and bacon. Along with some orange juice," she answered. Janet was reluctant, but she did, and the girl put the food in her mouth, which was eggs. Janet ate, not saying another word. Rihanna put the straw on the juice box to Janet's lips and she drank. As she finished, she finally built up the courage to say.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Look. I don't want to, but Maya can be really scary if you cross her. Nicki was and still is a close friend of mine,"

"Then why won't you let me go?"

"Like I said. Maya can be scary if you cross her,"

"Can't you help me without her knowing?"

"I can try...Maybe I'll be able to get someone to come here, but until then. That's all I can do,"

"At least it's something," Janet said. She heard the sound of banging and Rihanna quickly put the tape back over Janet's mouth. Janet tried to tell her to not leave her, but she was cut off by the sound of someone entering the room.

"It's almost 4, where the hell is Hannah?!" She heard a more masculine voice saw.

"I don't know...I've been watching her all day,"

"Ugh!! If she doesn't get there!! We're screwed!"

"James, calm down. I just got a text from her. She's already there," He nodded, then looked over at Janet, who was staying still as to not draw attention to herself.
