(Hally's pov 12-31-11)
I know what you think wow I just don't hate him but the thing is I love him. Over these past few weeks I relized this. It took time away from him to notice these feelings.
"Hally, it's almost midnight." Ashton spoke softly.
"Okay, I'll be in the living room to watch the ball drop soon." I explained to my best friend (who was slightly drunk). I walked over to my room to get my phone and than walked back to the living room.
"10...9...8" the people in the room shouted as I looked for Ashton.
"Ashton." I yelled out looking for the boy.
"6...5..4" I saw Ashton and ran to him.
"3...2...1 happy new year!" the room yelled, I soon felt Ashton's lips crash onto mine. Butterflies fluttering in my stomach, sparks flying around us.
"That was-" I was cut off.
"Nice." Ashton smiled.
"Yeah, nice."
