"who is that, dad?" darla asked.

"do we know him?" alex questioned.

"the prince seems to, but i've never seen him." darla said.

"neither have i." grayson said.

the family watched the two dance, peering over people's heads.

"but he certainly is- wait... there is something familiar about him." grayson stated.

the males swayed away out of the room and into the courtyard. they were lost in each others eyes. grayson began following them out when a curtain was closed in his face.

"that area is currently off limits." mr. kim said.

the pair soon stopped dancing and walked down a staircase. they strolled through the moonlit garden. past blooming flowers, and spraying fountains. jungkook stared at the beauty next to him holding his hand. the brunette looked over at him and immediately looked back down with a light blush. as they passed the fountain, he let his fingertips skim the water. 

after walking for a while they came across a bridge. they walked halfway and stopped. they stared at their reflections. they turned their heads to face each other with soft smiles.

the two found themselves sitting on a ledge leaning in for a kiss. suddenly, a deep thrum was heard and the brunette backed away and faced the clock tower behind them.

"oh my goodness." he breathed.

"what, what happened?" jungkook queried.

"it's midnight."

"yes, so it is. but-"

"i-i have to go. goodbye."

"no, wait. you can't go now."

"i must, i really need to go."

"but why?"

"well, i- o-oh the ceo. i really couldn't tell you his name. i haven't met him."

"the ceo? but, you know-"

the clock chimed again.

"goodbye."

"no, wait. come back."

the male was already a ways ahead of him before he started after him.

"please come back. i don't even know your name! how will i find you? wait, please wait!"

the brunette pushed through the curtains and turned around. he saw a man startled to an awakening.

"goodbye." he said.

the man just waved. he then came to his senses.

"oh, wait. you are the-" mr. kim said.

the brunette was already gone. he was about to go after him when the raven-haired male walked through the curtains. he pushed past them and started towards him.

"wait!" jungkook yelled.

"the ceo!" 

boys and girls surrounded the young man for a chance to talk to him.

the brunette flew down the first flight of steps and down the second. almost at the bottom, one of his heels slipped off his foot. he turned around with the intention to take it back when he saw someone right behind him. he left without the slipper.

"excuse me! just wait!" mr. kim yelled.

he came across the slipper and picked it up still chasing the male. he watched the male climb into a limo and it begin to drive away.

"guards! stop that limo!"

a few guards hopped into cars and began to follow the limo. not long after, they were back, telling him they lost it. mr. kim huffed in frustration and turned back around and headed back inside.

taehyung safely made it back into his town. as soon as he entered, the limo came to a stop. it began to quake and taehyung quickly exited. he watched as it shrunk down into the same box that held the dress. he leaned down and picked it up. when he stood back up, the dress slipped off and he was left back in his torn dress.  he picked it up off the ground and placed it on top of the box. he slipped off the heel and walked home barefoot.

"did you find him?" jungkook asked.

"the guards lost him." mr. kim said.

"how will i find him?"

"well, i-"

"i don't even know his name."

"mr. jeon, if you would-"

"will i ever see him again? what if-"

"mr. jeon!"

"yes, kim?"

"the male left his heel." mr. kim said, presenting it to jungkook.

jungkook took it from his hands carefully and looked at it. his eyes suddenly lit up.

"i know! i will have someone go around and try the slipper on every male teenagers foot within a 60 mile radius." 

mr. kim's jaw dropped. he began to back out of the room until he was caught.

"mr. kim, you wouldn't mind doing it, would you?"

"o-of course not." he gulped.

jungkook smiled and handed the glass heel back to the assistant. 

"you will start tomorrow. i am going back home now. you can tell everyone to leave."

mr. kim nodded and watched jungkook leave.

'it's going to be a long few days.' he thought.
