Break of the Snake

Ortega was staring at me, I sighed, his words were true, I did need a break, badly, maybe some therapy too.. I wouldn't do that though, Ortega would be a good therapist, right? Well what do I say now? No should I draw? Crap, it's happening again, I can't think straight! Well, I'll just let Ortie do whatever I guess. I put one of my gloved hands on the side of my serpentine mask, Ortega instantly realized something was up, "What is it, Void?"  he asks me quietly, I sighed again, I was going to have to tell him, otherwise something would happen to me, another mental issue perhaps? I look up at him, "I can't think straight right now, I'm trying to think of what I should do about all of this and I can't!" I exclaim, he nods understandingly, he looked thoughtful for a moment, and he looked at me, "I have an idea."

Ortega's POV

I stand up and walk over to where the other Team Star leaders were watching, I started whispering to them, "We need to get Void to forget about all of this, but.. you know what, never mind." I whisper, they all nod and I straighten up, regaining the posture my family wants me to have, I walk back over to where Void was sitting, and grabbed her wrist, the way she held herself made her look panicked for a moment, but she relaxed when I pulled her out of her sitting position and let go of her wrist, "Come on!" I say excitedly, this was going to result in a small chunk of my large amount of money being used, but I did not mind, if it was for the welfare of my best friend.. I guess I should say my crush... then I would do it, nothing would be able to stop me.. right? We walked down into Mesagoza, where I started taking everyone to the small stores there, when we went to Delibird Presents, Void got a couple of Spell Tags, I payed for them, she only got about three of them, which was 9,000 Pokedollars, not that much, we continued on and the others occasionally bought things, which I wanted to pay for but they refused, they said it was for the sake of me, I had no choice, they were persistent, and I couldn't do anything about it, sometimes Void would look around wildly and shrink into me, when she did, our shoulders brushed against each other, causing my face to burn, Void seemed happy though, she hadn't said much but that didn't mean anything, right? We decided to stop and eat, Atticus suggested a place but we couldn't understand him, mostly due to the way he spoke and his accent, we ended up going to it anyway, it was a good spot, and right next to it was a ice cream stand, I asked everyone if they wanted some, Eri refused, saying that it was not healthy, Mela also refused, she said that she wanted to stay skinny for as long as she could, Atticus didn't even know what ice cream was, suggesting that he was in fact from a family of ninjas, but I still was not completely convinced that he is a ninja, Giacomo instantly agreed, but only if he could pay for his own, Void said yes, but, the issue with this was that she hadn't eaten at all yet, from wearing her mask I assume, "Uhh, you should use your Froslass to keep it ice cream then." Mela suggests, I nod in agreement, she instantly pulls out a Pokeball, it was a Luxury ball, how could I have not noticed? The difference was that instead of having the red stripe across it, it had a dark blue that matched her mask, where was this from? Earlier she said her parents were average when it came to money, not rich, but not poor, Luxury balls were not that expensive, only costing the same amount of money as one Spell Tag, which was 3,000 Pokedollars, either she was lucky with this or there was something she wasn't telling me, I shrugged it off and decided to ask her later, we were having fun, and Void was too stressed for questions like that, I could tell, "No, I can just take my mask off I guess.." she murmurs, "But, uhh, we should go somewhere slightly more secluded I think." she added, everyone looked at each other, obviously confused, we order the ice cream nonetheless and we wander away from Mesagoza, out West, eventually, we find a spot that Void found to be sufficient and we sat down, "You all are probably wondering why I wanted a secluded spot, right?" she asks us, Eri nods, and Void sighs, she puts her hands into her hood and we hear a click, her mask's jaw fell slack, and its eyes stopped glowing, her hands came out of her hood and she pulled her mask off of her face, we all gasped when we saw her eyes, "N-no way..!" Mela shrieks, Void's facial expression changes into a nervous and slightly scared one, "We won't try and turn you in or anything." Eri murmurs, her eyes met mine and I felt my face burn, I instantly looked away, I glanced back to see Void looking confused, but her face was also red, I tried to ignore it and looked back at her,

"Your eyes are..",

"Lavender and w-white?".

Oooh yay we can finally understand how rare Void's eye colors are!

Ortega: *sitting on a weird contraption he made*

Eri: *ready to pull some sort of lever on the contraption*

Giacomo: *asleep sitting on some odd looking part on the contraption*

VG: What the heck are yo-

Void: *whispers* that thing is a catapult that will launch Momo into that lake

Mela: *watching nearby* *whispers* alright, Ortie's Azumaril is in position

Mela: *whispers* on my count,

*Eri pulls the lever*

Giacomo: *wakes up* AHHHHHHH WHAT THE-

*falls into the water*

Everyone who's not Momo: *snickering*
