I slowly open my eyes. There were other metal creatures staring at me. One of them was the one that saved me. He helped me sit up. The Elder one walks in. I look and my wounds were bandaged. I do feel better. The Elder shoos the other ones away except the one that saved me.
"Who are you? What is this place?" I ask.
He presses something. Something opens behind me. It was the world. Great, now I know where I am. The sky in other words Outer Space. Guess I'm the first Viking and human to ever go to Outerspace and to meet up with extraterrestrials. I guess that's what they are. They are not from earth. The Elder presses a button on his armor. A buzzing sound comes, then words. My guess is, a translator.
"You we're lucky." He says.
"Why save me?" I ask.
He points to the mark.
"You are worthy of the mark." He says.
"What does it mean?" I ask.
He lifts my head up with his hand.
"You are one of us now. A Great Hunter." He says.
"What?" I ask.
He turns and presses another button. It showed earth like a picture in 3D. A ship appeared and sailed to Earth.
"We found this planet thousands of years ago." He says.
It zoomed in. I see the same buildings and people worshiping them.
"We taught you Humans how to build. We were worshiped as gods. Every century we'd return to your world and expect a sacrifice." He says.
He points to me.
"You humans were the carries for the ultimate prey. You know of whom I speak of." He says.
I nod. Guess I found out what those serpents are.
"Killing one made you worthy of the park." He points to his head.
I see them swarming around them. I see the pyramid. I see them getting shredded.
"In any case we lost, we made sure nothing survived." He says.
There was a massive explosion in the image and then it faded.
"Wow." I could only manage to say.
I slowly get off the bed. I shakily stand up.
"Walk with me." He says.
