4. THE RUNNING MAN p2

  We finally come to a stop. Meryl came out of the car and went towards me and Vash. Vash got off the bird as I stayed on it. Meryl says as Vash got off the bird,
"I agree with the maniac." Vash went into the bag storage and pulled out a bottle of clear water. Meryl continued on,
"Are you so short sighted that you believe running away making you some kind of saint?"

Once she finished her statement and Vash took a drink of the water he took the bottle of water towards the bird and let it drink the water knowing it must be dehydrated from all that running.
As he did that I sat on the saddle leading my body forwards as the remaining energy in my hand started to pet the bird.
As I thought she was done with her statement she continued on,
"It's lame, Not a act of kindness." I let out a huff as me and Vash continued on listening to her,
"You just don't want to get hurt..running away isn't some brave thing to do."

Roberto let out a puff of smoke before he said,
"That's quite enough out of you newbie."
Meryl glanced over to Roberto and after a moment she says with her head down,
"Right." Her brows were furrowed in a mad kinda expression she had. It was silent for a moment as I looked over to Vash knowing he was going to say something. Which he indeed did,
"Ok..I may not be the bravest."

Meryl and Roberto looked over to him as his gaze only looked towards the bird or ground. He started to asking them,
"But what's so wrong with being a little timid? Is fighting head on always right? it risks lives, and for what?" Meryl was stunned by his words.

After a few moment we heard the radio in the car as it said with gun fired was heard in the background,
"Injures at the factory! We need backup! Hurry we can't hold them AAH-" the radio cut off and started to make a statice noise. Roberto let out a sigh as I quickly moved to my original stop as Vash quickly got into the saddle.
The bird started to move as Meryl says to me and Vash,
"What now?!"

Neither did me and Vash say anything as Roberto stuck his head out the window and says to Meryl,
"Get in newbie." She says quickly,
"coming!" She started over to the other side of the car and got on as they followed the bird towards Jeneora Rock.

We made it towards Jeneora Rock and noticed the old guy and big guy having the health plant wrapped around robe. The old guy spoke out but I didn't listen to a word he said as me and Vash started running towards where they were.
We were close to them to see Rosa held by the throat by the big guy. He threw her and in mid air he launched his cybernetics arm towards her.
Luckily we made it in time for Vash to kick the guys cybernetic arm. I put enough energy in my whole body to jump up and grab onto Rosa's body. We landed on the ground with Rosa in my arms safely.

The old man was Stunned by us two randomly showing up and vash kicking his sons cybernetic arm. Meryl and Roberto finally caught up as they stood beside the few people with guns. The old lunatic says to Vash,
"look who it is!"
I started to examine her Body and face making sure she wasn't severely injured. The old man spoke as I gently put Rosa down with Vash standing beside me,
"So coward you finally came crawling back, you strategic bugger you! Did all that running to lead us away from the plants! Well who cares, pleasure is good and fun but my son and I are pumpkin ready a rumble!"

Meanwhile as he spoke our eyes were locked on the two as Rosa looked at us and slowly got up and went to the others. Once she was away Vash and I started to run towards them. The old man yells out pointing towards Vash, "GOFSEF!". Once all there focus was on Vash I let myself only be seen by Vash.
