Please don't kill me I'm sorry it's late!

I looked down at my screen that said 7 p.m. Ashton was going to be picking me up for our date soon. He told me o where comfortable clothes and told me we weren't going to any fancy restaurants.

I had my normal black skinny jeans on, and a Metallica shirt on. With black chucks on.

Soon enough I heard a ring at the door. By the time I got there my dad had answered the door.

"Dad this is Ashton Ashton this is my dad," I introduced them.

"Nice to meet you," my dad said.

"Nice to meet you to sir," Ashton said shaking my dads hand.

"Please be careful with Dylan she has been through a lot she doesn't need to have more things," he said.

"I understand Dylan told me what she's been through," Ashton said.

"Oh okay well you two better be off than,"

"Thank you sir it was such a pleasure to meet you,"

"Same goes for you Ashton,"

My adoptive dad closed the door and Ashton looked at me. "Can I have your truck keys please?"

"Sure but why?"

"You'll see," he said as he went to my truck and he started putting pillows and blankets in there. Soon enough he climbed in the truck and said "let's roll."

I climbed in the truck and we were off to somewhere I didn't know about.

We must have been traveling for over an hour because as I looked out the window all I could see was the farmland of Illinois and the dark night sky.

Soon enough we pulled into a gas station and Ashton hopped out of the truck. I was filled with curiosity as he started filling up the tank.

Minutes later he got back in the truck and started it up. He drove five minutes before pulling off into the grass.

"Um Ashton are you like trying to kill me?" I asked.

He laughed for a second and then said," no I'm not this is my uncles property now follow me."

So I did what he said being as cautious as I can. This scene looked straight out of a horror movie with the tall golden grass, the dark night sky, and how we're in the middle of absolutely nowhere.

Ashton took me to the back where he laid out the comforters and then the pillows on top.

Lay down and look at the sky," he said. So I did. I laid down next to him in the back of my truck, and together we watched the sunset turn into a starry night. You could see almost every star in the world with no lights around you. It was honestly beautiful. It was beautiful and he was beautiful, and to think he used to never know of my existence only a few weeks ago.

Sitting here I started thinking about everything. Ever since Ashton has come around I've been happier, and I've been clean. I haven't self-harmed in a few weeks. That's a new record.

Soon enough my eye lids became too heavy and I fell asleep in Ashton's arms watching the night sky. I felt safe, warm, and cozy. I melt into his arms and I know it sounds cliche but I feel like I was made to fit into his arms. It was like as soon as we hug were like two missing puzzle pieces finally finding each other.

I drifted off into the unknown in Ashton arms under the breathtaking starry night above.

As I woke up the sun was beating down on me, and you could hear birds chirping. It was like waking up in a movie.

Looking up I saw Ashton sleeping and he looked at peace. He looked invincible and like nothing could read him down.

His eyelids slowly fluttered open and a smile spread across his face. I rested my chin on his chest on top of my two hands, and he hand his hands playing with my hair.

This felt normal almost to normal. I pushed the paranoid thought out of my head, and I just focused on Ashton and me. I focused on what was right in front of me and what was in the present.

I guess not eating has made Ashton like me more. I don't know how but me not eating barely helped. I still look fat and I don't see why Ashton likes me, but I'm not going to think about that right now.

Ashton had the best smile that made me melt inside. I loved his laugh, and how he had multiple different ones that were all so contagious.

I loved every aspect about Ashton inside and out, and I think I have for a while.

((Ashton's POV))

Looking down at Dylan at her locker she looked smaller. Her cheek, hip, and collarbones were all more noticeable now. I wonder if she's been eating. Here's no way that in seven days someone could lose that much weight. It's like impossible with physical activity unless you starve yourself.

I see the smile on her face and I can see how happy she is. I don't want to break that happiness, but if I don't ask her she can potentially die.

"Dylan can I ask you a question?" I asked finally feuding it was best this way.

"Yeah shoot me," she said

"Have you been eating at all?"

"Yea silly I have," she said with a smile as fake as Kim Kardashians ass.

"Dylan tell me the truth you can trust me," I said more serious this time.

"Yea I have Ashton," she said.

"When was the last time you ate then," I said a little bit harsher than needed.

"I don't need to tell you the last time I ate Ashton because it's none of your business," she said and walked away angry.

"God dammit," I said and banged a locker. Why do I always have to screw shit up?

"You alright mate?" Like said walking up to me.

"No," I said. "Nothing's alright now."
