"I'm sorry Ender. Shay hasn't come home. She texted me that she's with Jace ." Mrs. Porter apologized

"That's okay. I just came to apologize for something I said to her earlier. I'm going to go now. Have a good rest of your day Mrs. Porter." Ender walked off the porch and kicked the gravel in the garden. As he headed to his car he saw a red corolla pull up. His eyes lit up in hopes that it was her. Instead, a straight haired brunette stepped out of the car.

"Hi Ender."

"Hey Jackie." He greeted halfheartedly

"Is Shay here? I wanted to see if she wanted to hangout with me and Iris at the pool."

"She's not here. I just checked. She's with Jace ."

We arrived at Maggie's and of course I got out of the car to move to the back seat. "Hey Shay!" Maggie handed back the phone to me to rightfully control the music.

"Hey." I smiled and buckled up as Jace backed out of the driveway. I rolled down the windows and put my hand out just to ride the wind.

"I'm stopping by Sean's house. I figured he should also have some fun tonight." Jace laughed as he turned the corner.

"Sean? Sean the blonde? Sean Jones?" I ask excitedly

"Yep. The same Sean." Jace beeped his car like eight times and turned up the volume in the car. The tall blonde boy walked out of his with embarrassment blanketing his face. I have a slight feeling Sean might not like me. Mostly because whenever he talks I get pretty amazed because he's the quietest guy in our grade.

"Hi Sean." Jace greeted as he adjusted his mirror. Sean nodded his head and immediately went on his phone. I looked over to Sean and I could see that he was not having it.

"Shay, I think someone's calling you." Maggie pointed

I turned away from me twiddling my thumbs of boredom and looked at the window.

"Jackie! Iris!" I squealed and stuck half of my body out the window.

"Iris?" Sean quietly says and he perks his head trying to see.

"Yeah. Iris is one of my best friends." I turned my head to Sean and I saw him boyishly smile and it became one of the cutest things I have ever seen.

"Shay! Text us!" Iris yelled as they drove in the other direction.

"Okay! I will!" I wave goodbye and sit back down into my seat. I looked over to Sean and he was back to his Clash of Clans game on his phone.

Ender got home and pulled out his mod. He never thought of himself as a person that's addicted, but people who are addicted don't know they are addicted until someone they care about gets hurt. The truth is, Ender wasn't going to the party to see Addison. He wanted to go because parties are an excuse to let his drunken actions act out his sober wants. There was someone at the party he wanted to get close with and hoped liquid courage could help him. He went back outside and got in his car to pick up Harrison and Willow. Parties don't usually start till like 10pm but Ender knew that the person he wanted to see would be there early.

"Sean. Just stick with me okay." I teasingly punched his shoulder and took his hand inside the house. As we walked, my mouth dropped in awe. This house was huge. There was a marble two way staircase and everything was either granite or marble. The walls were decorated with all kinds of art from all around the world. It looked like a museum type castle.

"Alright Sean. I know you have a thing for my good old friend Iris. Good for you she's finally past the stage of finally getting over her ex. I'm making it my mission to help you, my dude." I let go of his hand and took him to the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" He nervously says with a crack in his voice as I close the door.

"I'm going to make you look hot. What else would I be doing?"
