They're sitting under the stars when Will says it for the first time. Nico freezes, heart leaping into his throat. He turns to face Will, searching his kind eyes for doubt or hesitation, but finds only sincerity and love. Will's hand finds Nico's and squeezes gently. Nico takes a deep breath. "I love you too," he finally says. Will's smile could rival the sun. He leans in and softly kisses Nico, pouring all his feelings into it. When they break apart, Nico rests his head on Will's shoulder. "Say it again," he whispers. Will's arm comes around him, holding him close. "I love you," he murmurs, pressing a kiss to Nico's hair. Nico sighs contentedly. Those three little words mean everything coming from Will's lips. Nico closes his eyes, feeling at peace in Will's embrace under the starry night sky.
