Nico laid back on Will's bed, exhausted after a long day of training new campers. Will smiled down at him. "Tired, death boy?"Nico shrugged. "A little."
Will crawled onto the bed next to Nico. "Come here," he said, opening his arms. Nico scooted over and rested his head on Will's chest. Will wrapped his arms around Nico, holding him close. Nico sighed contentedly, enjoying the warmth and comfort of Will's embrace.
Will gently ran his fingers through Nico's hair. "How was your day?" he asked softly.
Nico closed his eyes, melting into Will's touch. "Long. Yours?"
"Better now," Will said, pressing a kiss to the top of Nico's head.
They lay there in silence for a while, just breathing together, listening to each other's heartbeats. Being close to Will made Nico's worries fade away. He felt at ease and right at home in Will's arms.
Will lightly traced shapes on Nico's back, making him shudder at the pleasant sensation. Nico snuggled impossibly closer, wrapping an arm around Will's waist. Will smiled, loving how tactile and affectionate Nico became when they cuddled. He loved making Nico feel safe and cherished.
They fit together so perfectly, like two halves of a whole. Nico felt like the missing piece in Will's heart, and Will was the light that chased away Nico's darkness. Here in each other's embrace, nothing else seemed to matter. The rest of the world faded away, leaving only their love between them.
Nico tilted his head up and kissed Will tenderly. "I love you," he said.
Will gazed at him with eyes full of warmth and adoration. "I love you too," he replied, kissing Nico again. They stayed like that for a long time, wrapped in each other's love through a blanket of tranquil silence, two hearts beating as one.
