"Y/n, could you possibly lock up the diner?" Gerry asked. "Yeah. Of course." Y/n replied. "Great. I'll help you clean up and then I'll leave." Gerry said. Y/n started to clean the bar while Gerry went to the back. She wasn't paying attention, when she heard the door open and close. "Sorry, we're about to close." Y/n said, before she looked at who walked inside. "Sorry for coming in so late, but we just got back from tour and this was the only place that was still open." "Well, uhm, I can still whip something up for you all. Why don't you take a seat and I'll be back in 10 minutes." Y/n replied. She walked into the kitchen and saw that Gerry had left. She started to make some burgers and fries, before plating it up and walking back out. She placed the plates in front of the men and smiled. "Enjoy. I'll bring you some beers as well." Y/n said. "Thank you, sweet thing." "I'm sorry. But are y'all a band? Since you said you got back from the tour?" Y/n asked.

"Yeah, we are. You might have heard from us." "We're Kiss." The one closest to Y/n said. "Oh, really. I did listen to some songs of you on the way to the diner. I'm Y/n, by the way." Y/n said. "It's nice to meet you, Y/n. I'm Paul, they are Gene, Eric and Bruce." "Nice to meet you all." Y/n said as the door to the diner opened again. "You still open?" The man asked. "Uhm, I'm about to close up. Sorry." Y/n said. "They're still here. So you're still open." The man said. "They came 15 minutes before 10. It's 10 right now, so it's closing time." Y/n replied. "You can still serve me if they are in here. Don't act like a bitch and give me beer." The man said. "Hey, man. She told you to get out, so you better listen." Paul said as he got up. "Who the fuck are you? Huh, you the owner of this place." "Get out or we'll call the cops." Gene said as he stood beside Paul, shielding Y/n from the man. "Alright, fine." The man said as he walked out of the diner. "Thank you so much." Y/n said.

"It's okay. Do you want us to stay here when you are locking up? In case he comes back?" Bruce asked. "Maybe yeah. I would feel much better if y'all were here." Y/n answered. "We'll stay here. We don't want anything to happen to you." Paul said. A couple of weeks went by. Paul, who regularly came to the diner before closing time and even knew Y/n's schedule from being there a lot. Y/n, who loved the company of Paul whenever he was at the diner, started to feel things for the rockstar. Y/n had to work the late shift again and was serving the tables. It was around 9 when Paul walked inside. Y/n smiled, before she walked over to the table he was sitting at. "Hey." Y/n said. "Hey you. How are you?" Paul asked. "I'm alright. Can I get you something?" Y/n answered. "Yeah, some of your free time." "You gotta wait an hour for that." Y/n replied. "Then get me a coffee." Paul replied. "One coffee, coming right up."

Y/n said, before she walked behind the bar to brew the coffee. Y/n gave him some coffee, before serving the rest of the customers. "Y/n. You're free to leave. I'll see you on Friday." Gerry said. "Okay." Y/n replied. She walked to the back and changed, before walking back to Paul. "Seems like I didn't wait that long." Paul said with a smirk. "What do you wanna do?" Y/n asked. "Whatever you want. I could take you to the movies?" He suggested. "We could also have dinner? I have yet to eat dinner." Y/n said. "I can cook for you at your place. We'll go to the store and you pick the dish." Paul said. "Alright. There is a Walmart close to my condo." "Lead the way, beautiful." Paul replied. They walked to the store and walked down the aisles after they arrived. Once they found everything Paul needed for the dish and were now walking to Y/n's condo. "This is really cozy." Paul said as they walked inside.

"I tried my best." Y/n replied as she placed her bag down by the front door and took off her shoes. "Do you want me to take of my shoes as well?" Paul asked. "Yeah, I cleaned my floor last night." Y/n answered with a smile. They walked into the kitchen and Paul looked at her. "Sit down and pour us a glass of wine. I'll take care of the food." Paul said. "But I want to help you." "You have worked all day. I'll take care of you. I don't take no for an answer, beautiful." "Would you like wine or something else?" Y/n asked. "Wine is alright. Where are all your pots and pans?" Paul asked. "Beneath the oven." Y/n replied as she grabbed two wine glasses and opened a new bottle of white wine. "Thank you." Paul said as she gave him the glass. "What are you going to make?" "Chicken Alfredo." Paul answered. She walked to the dinner table and placed the plates and cutlery down, before she walked back to the counter and sat down on one of the bar stools. "When are you going to tour again?" Y/n asked. "In two weeks we will start here in America. It will be just a tour of North and South America. So we start in the States then we'll go up to Canada and we'll end in South America." "How long will you be gone?" Y/n asked. "Presumably 6 months or 8 months. I don't remember." Paul replied. There was a knock on the door and Y/n got up. She opened the door and saw her ex boyfriend. "What do you want?" "Why aren't you answering the phone when I call?"
