THE RIDE: CHAPTER THREE
SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2003.

Sydney's eyes scanned over the paperwork that she was given to her from the Chief, as her mind soaked the detailed information in like a sponge.

A five month stay in San Paulo; she was to go by the name Stella, a 20 something year old woman wanting to become a bottle girl at Club Static behind her friend "Felix"— who just so happened to be Joey, one out of the four agents that were assigned duty in Brazil.

It was up to Sydney to figure out just how she wanted Stella to be.

She jotted notes down the entire plane ride there on the different strategies that she could use to get the most information.

They all had their perks and their initial downsides, so Sydney couldn't just stick to one— she knew better than that.

Having them written, she would use them all, whenever the time and the place came about.

The 10 hour flight had came to an end as the federal owned jet flew low over the Atlantic Ocean waters. The tropical breeze and scorching sun combo hit Syd the moment she touched the ground with her own feet, and it felt good with having a breath of fresh air.

Her sense of relief didn't last very long, as a two black SUVs came around. She and Dana stepped into one, as the other two agents stepped into the other.

They made their through the city, going through the rich pieces of it and the slums. The place was full of vibrancy, from the locals pursuing their businesses to the neo-gothic architecture that stood bright and tall.

The two cars turned into a valley off the coast of the city, one that was run down and fairly quiet.

At the end of it was a garage that went underground. The four agents were catered toward in getting their belongings assisted and brought to their temporary residences.

It was like an all inclusive stay, for Sydney. It filled her satisfaction to the brim to know that she would be staying at such a nice villa for five months.

The urge to unwind in her new circumstances was grilling her, temptation rising high— but the woman thought about her job circumstances, and how this all was an opportunity to deem herself valuable not only to her unit and Chief Langford, but to herself.

With that, her time of relaxation until the case operation was set to start came in another perspective— she got herself a shower and fixed herself to the room service that was available.

She utilized the technology that was there, turning on a soulful sound to the ear as she got her things out to research more of the case.

A full and fledged out study session— that was what the woman was in.
