3rd Person POV:

"Wait no! This isn't fair! How do you keep winning?!" Ava whined putting the ps controller down with a huff.

Ava and Tom have been playing Mortal Kombat for an hour and out of the 11 games they have played, Tom won all of them.

"Ava, honestly it's painful to watch you." Jason said with a smirk.

"Hey Jas, do you mind shutting up? Maybe you should go and join the others in the pool and stop bothering me!" Ava said loudly looking at Jason with a scowl.

"Oh stop whining, just because you lost doesn't me you get to yell at everyone. As far as i'm concerned, it's not his fault that you keep loosing." Tom said while smirking at Ava's annoyed face. Her eyes bored into Tom's which amused him further and couldn't help but chuckle.

"I'm so close to killing both of you and I'm not kidding." Ava said seriously. "I want a rematch." She added grabbing the controller from the couch.

"I really don't what to see you lose again so, later suckers." Jason said with a smirk, going out to the garden to join the rest of the group in the pool.

Ava didn't feel like going into the pool so Tom agreed to keep her company, hence why they were playing video games at the moment.

"Are you sure you want a rematch? You're gonna loose anyway." Tom said picking up his controller with a smile.

"Yes, i'm sure. No shut up and lets play." Ava said sternly, putting her hair up to get it out of her face so she could concentrate better.

"Fine. You're on. No mercy though." Tom said glancing at Ava from the corner of his eye.

"No mercy my ass." Ava mumbled while rolling her eyes.

So, they started the game. And just like the other ones, Tom was winning. Ava was trying so hard, she was trying to prove that she would actually win but when you have no previous experience and are playing against someone who has been playing for nearly 5 years, of course you're going to loose.

So Ave did what she considered was her last resort.

She reached over to Tom and quickly pressed a random button on his controller which to her luck, caused him to lose.

"I won! I fucking won!" Ava chimed with excitement, jumping up from the couch with a huge smile, raising her controller up in the air.

"Asshole! You cheated!" Tom complained, looking up at Ava with disappointed.

"I still won though." She said with a smirk, looking down at Tom with raised brows, the satisfactory feeling if winning bubbling in her chest.

"Yeah, by cheating." Tom rolled his eyes with annoyance.

"Yeah, by cheating!" Ava mocked Tom. "Honestly I think you're just mad that I won." She added proudly.

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!

"Are too-" Ava was quickly cut off when Tom yanked the controller out of her hand or let's say he tried too. But instead, as Ava was holding onto that controller for dear life, Tom pulled her, making her tumble right on top of him.

Her eyes met his and for a second Ava was sure the her heart stopped. Hand were placed on his chest while his hands were around her waist, which he grabbed in an instinct to slow down her fall.
