3rd Person POV:

Ava laid awake in her hotel room, staring at the ceiling with a thousand questions going through her head all at once.

She sighed and turned to her side closing her eyes, hoping to get some sleep before they left New York to go to LA which was a 5 hour flight away.

After LA they had a few more places to go in Canada and then Mexico but after that they were done.

The tour was going to be over.

Which is why sleep didn't catch Ava's eyes because she was way too busy overthinking everything.

She groaned loudly and picked her phone up, the blinding light of the bright screen making her squint in annoyance.

3:37

The time made her sigh harder as she realized she had been trying to sleep for nearly 3 hours. She thought about who to text but couldn't decide on who would be awake so she decided to text the group.

Seven Deadly Sins

Ava:
yo is anyone awake???
sent at 3:42

She waited for a few minutes but placed her phone down when she realized that everyone was asleep.

Bill:
why are u awake ava?

Ava:
i can't sleep and i'm hungry

Bill:
i'm hungry 2

Bill:
wanna get mcdonalds??

Ava:
is that even a question?

Ava:
yes.

Bill:
hotel lobby in 5

Bill:
grab a hoodie, it's cold outside

Ava:
okay mom.

Ava placed her phone down with a smile and quickly grabbed a hoodie from her luggage, which happened to be the one Tom gave her on the day they went to the theme park.

For a minute she cringed, remembering the song she wrote.

Did she regret writing Heather?

No.

But did she regret releasing it?

Maybe.

She shook the thoughts away, and pulled the hoodie over her head, Tom's perfume flooding her nostrils. Of course she washed it a couple of times but the scent somehow remained.

Or Ava was delusional and was imagining the smell.

Either way, it still made her happy.

Ava quietly made her way to the hotel lobby, the only people there being Bill and the exhausted looking receptionist.

"So I checked and there's a really close Mcdonalds to the hotel." Bill said while getting up from the couch.
