"Students, your midterm exams are scheduled for the week after next." My homeroom teacher announced to the class. I focused on the printing on the wall, it was much more interesting.
"You will be tested on four subjects, and the top two scores in each grade will receive a Stella." My eyes widened as I looked back at Master Henderson. 'A Stella!?' I excitedly thought, remebing all the praise I got from before. I glanced at Anya, who was thinking the same thing. "But those who failed will be given a Tonitrus Bolt, so preparation is crucial!" Master Henderson then called out names of students so they could receive their history quizzes.
I groaned quietly, knowing my score wouldn't be as good as in any other subject. "This test is pretty scary, huh?" Becky said to Anya and me. "Facts- I'm especially worried about History..." I told her. "Anya isn't good at anything..."
"Don't say that Anya! I'm sure there is something your excelling at." Becky smiled at Anya. "No, she has nearly failing scores on everything." I shook my head silently. "See!?" Anya moaned.
"Aiari Forger." My name was called my Henderson. I stood up and walked down the small set of steps. I walked up to Master Henderson's desk, he handed me my quiz. "Extremely inelagent score miss. Please see me after school." My mouth dropped as I grovelled over my horrible score. "A... nineteen.?" I whispered, slowly walked back to my shared desk. I just happened to look up to see where I was going, when I saw the Leaf Boy motioning my to look at his perfect scored paper.
"Heh." He chuckled and gave me the exact same signature smirk I always give him. My eye twitched as he friends laughed and complimented how he did such a "superior job" copying my "stupid expression." I clenched my teeth and took the teasing as it was. I sat down at my desk slowly. "W..what sore did you get?.." Becky asked reluctantly. "Anya got a thirteen while you were looking at Desmond..." I slid the paper in-between Anya and Becky and showed them my extremely pissed expression.
They didn't bother me for the rest of the day.
