The three of us all ran out the apartment door, trying to catch up with Papa and Mama. "Wait, wait, close the door idiot!" Averen yelled as Anya stuck her tongue at him and quickly ran back to lock the door. "I'm leaving her slow ass." My younger brother scoffed, skipping down the steps. He's the youngest of my siblings, and the most annoying and rude. "Wait for Anya!" "Hurry up, we're going to miss the fire works!" I tell her, grabbing her hand and running down the steps.
We ran out the apartment building and torpedoed into the car. "Thanks again for having me, Mr. and Mrs. Forger." Averen said, putting on his good little angel act that every kid has. "No problem Avaren, we're happy to have you." Papa said as he stared the car and headed to the park. I straightened the shorts on my two piece Fourth of July outfit.

"Don't worry, no matter what way you wear it, it still makes you look fat." I silently punched Avaren as he softly groaned. 'Anya is not a part of this.' Anya communicated with me. 'You will if you keep talking.' I told her. 'What did I do!??'
-At the park-
"Yay! Fireworks!" Anya exclaimed, laughing and running around in the grass of the park. "By the way, this event will have a lot of important people. So don't do anything your usual peasant self would do." Averen confidently sighed as I glared at him. "Your forgeting I go to Eden Academy." I smirk proudly. "Okay, and? My "mom" is thinking of sending me there~" The pink haired boy walked away, leaving me shocked. "No! You can't go there, that would be absolute hell, I already have to suffer being with you twice a week..." I whined. Papa and Avaren's adoptive parents agreed to set up playdates every Tuesday and Thursday, thanks to Papa's emince persuading skills.
"Stop lying, you know you love having me around." "That's a lie." Anya said, sitting in the grass. I laughed loudly as Papa and Mama watched us from afar. We played around for about a hour, Bond kept pouncing on Avaren, and that's how I found out about his fear of dogs. People started crowding the park, setting up their fancy roof tents and such. "Papa! Where's our tent? All the fancy people have them!" Anya asked Averen fell out a tree he climbed.
"I'll go get it-" "Papa, I have to use the bathroom." I told him. "I'll take you dear, come with me." Mama said. I grabbed her hand as we walked over to the bathroom area. Since this was a "elegant" park, they crept their bathrooms in mint condition, probably in fear of getting a bad rating. When I was done, I left the bathroom using the back door, which I had no idea was there.
'I'ma explore before the fireworks.' I thought, running to the other side of the park. It was absolutely huge, and the other half of the park had lots of hills that I couldn't help bit slide down. The gras was so soft and slick against my skin. I stood up, giggling a little. 'I love the park!' I decided to be a anime girl and run through the grass, my hands gently brushing against the flowers.
I suddenly bumped into someone. I expected some rich person to yell at me, but when I opened my eyes, they met with familiar ones. "What is blazes are you doing here?!" Damian's friend said. The one with the hairdo that sticks straight up. He had a strawberry ice cream cone in hand.I groaned. "I'm here with my, family." I said in a British accent. "I don't know why! Your family probably can't even afford to drive here! You probably had to...walk." he sneered. I held my nose high. "Just like you couldn't afford that ice cream cone to fall in the ground." "What?" I slapped the cone out of his hand and it fell on the floor. "Whoopsie~ well, since your so rich, you can buy another, can't you?"
I turned around just to bump into someone else. Damian. "Oh my god, get out my damn way!" I yelled. He looked extremely pissed. I scoffed slightly as I backed up. "Apologize Uggo." He commanded me. "Who do you think you are, giving me orders?" I looked him in his eyes, but instantly looked away. I clenched my teeth and my flustered face twitched in embarrassment. I could hear him coming closer, so I backed away. "I said apologize!" He yelled. I squeezed my eyes shut and looked away. 'Just go away!' I screamed in my head.
"Aiari-chan, there you are! I've been looking for you!" Mama sighed as she jogged over to me. "Oh, are you playing with the other kids? I'm sure Loud will let you play some more after the fireworks, they're about to start!" Mama grasped my hand as I stared after Damian. I gulped and looked away, my face still hot. "So, who was that? You seem close." "I didn't answer. Mama must've caught on, because she just smiled and said ask anything else as we walked back to the other side of the park.
"Sissy! Averen threw a water balloon at me!" Anya whined when I returned. The tent was set up along with a few snacks and a blanket. "Well punch him in the stomach then." I said in monotone. "Okay." The next thing I heard was a groan from Averen. "Let's go everyone, time to watch the fireworks!" Papa yelled as we all ran to the blanket. Just like he said, the fireworks began. They were really loud, but definitely worth it.
