For the next couple of months (Y/n) and I have been hanging out at the beach together and as the months past, I started to sneak them in certain parts of my home and I plan on having them meet my mother tonight! I have been telling her about them lately and after a while it only makes sense for them to meet each other. Once the sun disappeared from the sky, I quickly made my way back to the beach to meet up with (Y/n).
"Hey (Y/n), where are you!" I called in a whisper.
Walking through the grass, the beach was getting closer until my feet finally touched the sand. We created a secret passage to our hiding spot and once I walked through it, (Y/n) was standing near the ocean. Hearing my footsteps, he turned around and she seemed to be holding something.

"Hey Sanji!" He says, jogging to me. "I wanna give you something but you have to close your eyes first."

Doing what she wanted, I closed my eyes. Whatever they were giving me rubbed against my head and rested on my shoulders. Though I wanted to open my eyes I managed to keep them closed.

"Alright."

I opened my eyes and saw (Y/n)'s necklace was on me! Don't they need this? Why are they giving it to me? It's beautiful and I quickly thanked them before hiding it under my shirt.

"So where are we going today?" They asked.

"I want you to meet someone but we'll have to move fast. Follow me." I took the lead as (Y/n) ran behind me.

We used the trees and bushes to our advantage and stayed out of sight. We almost ran into a few guards but (Y/n) used their ability and dealt with them. The water looked so clear and beautiful almost as if they were crystallized. Soon enough we reached the building where my mother was located and with the help of my friend again, we made it to her bedroom window without an issue and thankfully the window was still open. We easily climbed inside the room and carefully closed the window.

"Who’s there?" My mother’s awake!

Looking at (Y/n), they seemed a bit panicked as they crouched behind a desk. I motioned them to stay there before walking out from behind the desk. My mother’s guarded expression softens as she spots me. She opened her arms out and I quickly ran over to her and gave her a hug.

"Hey mom?"

"Yes?"

"You remember that friend I always told you about?"

"Yes I do, but what about them?"

"I want you to meet them!"

I climbed down off the bed and jogged over to the desk and grabbed (Y/n) by her hand and carefully guided him out. Before they could be seen, he quickly ran behind me.

"Is that your friend behind you?" Mother asks.

"It is, but you have to promise that you won't judge them." I answered.

"Promise."

"You can show yourself now." I whisper.

Hesitating for a couple of seconds before slowly walking from behind me, they walked near the bed but went no further than that. They must’ve never met someone who's kind like my mother. Even though they were nervous, they still managed to introduce themselves.

"It's nice to meet you dear, and thank you for being friends with my son." Mom responds.

After the slow introductions, I allowed my mother and (Y/n) to speak with each other but I always got thrown back in the conversation. As the sun started to set, we climbed out of the window as we said our goodbyes and made it safely on the ground. We walked back to the beach and played tag along the shoreline. Without realizing, we slowly got closer to my home and I was quick enough to pull them away and watched as they ran ahead, back to the beach. As I watched (Y/n) disappear behind the bushes, I started to wonder what would happen if they were never on the beach? Would I be somewhere else? Fighting for my life? Would I be-
